2. Air Supply and Pressure Regulating Valve(AR2000)
- American type air plug is used for the air compressor connection.
- Black valve locks as you push back and unlocks in reverse.
3. 18" Flexible Hose
- Working pressure: 300 psi. Hose endures torsion and pressure extremes to ensure safe use.
- Quick disconnect with 4 ball bearings for better grip.
- It can be connected to short / long rubber hose(11-1/2" and 41-3/4"), and universal push-on connectors.

1. Gauge manifold directly connects to push-on connectors for quick test.
2. Gauge manifold directly connects to short / long rubber hose for another choice. With metal adapters if required.
3. Longest connection. Connect both ends of short / long hose to gauge manifold and M14 extension rod respectively, and the latter can also be screwed to a metal adapter for size adjustment.
Safety Tips
1. Air pressure should be controlled within the range: 45-100 psi.
2. Turn the knob counterclockwise first before the cylinder compression tester connects to the air compressor.
3. Please read the instructions carefully before operation and best to be accompanied or guided by professionals as you work.
4. Tidy up all used tools and equipment and never leave them in, on or near the engine.

Air hose fitting supplied is incorrectly made and does not fit into the female hose end. It looks like a standard I/M fitting, but the fitting diameter is about 0.050" larger than a male I/M fitting, and this prevents it from fitting in, even with some amount of force applied. Further, the fitting connection into the regulator is not a standard NPT thread, but rather is a metric straight thread with o-ring. Consequently, you can't just replace the defective fitting with a new one, rendering the entire kit rather useless.

I'm resubmitting a review, improving the rating after being critical of the performance in the first one-star review. If you have ever used one of these leak down testers before, your first experience will be better than mine. The instructions for set up and use are not correct, lending to improper initial setup. TIP 1, There is to be air pressure but no flow going through the tool when calibrating set pressure. Tip 2, Parts identification pictures have legend items labeled alphabetically while listing descriptions are numerical. To further complicate there is no correlation such as "C" and "3" indicating the same part. Beyond these confusions it is a workable, well packaged tool.

Needs a check valve or a ball valve to allow disconnecting air hose without losing pressure.Really pretty useless.

I’d say this product is a good value. The only criticism I have is it would not seal well at the spark plug holes. Hard to do a leak down test when the gauge is leaking at the SP hole. Possibly adding a fatter O-ring would do the trick.
