I've been using this system to maintain proper humidity levels for two Taylor guitars and it's been working great. Gone are the days of wetting a sponge or dealing with refilling some odd capsule with water. This system is about as idiot-proof as you can get. If you want to make it even more idiot-proof, set your order on subscription so that it serves as an automatic reminder to change out the refills at the proper intervals.

I tried the other restore packs but they never got over 45-47% after weeks. These brought humidity up from 35% to 40% in 24 hrs and then to 50% the day after. And that includes the 7 ply hard shell case! I learned the hard way. These are the only brand I'll use going forward. EDIT: The next ones had a hole in the sealed package and is prematurely aging. If it happens on next shipment, I'll contact Amazon immediately with photo and send it back. It should last 3 more weeks. I'll update then.

Worked very well to get my guitar back into shape. Had a crack forming due to dryness. Used these and within 8wks, the crack is much less noticeable and certainly hasn’t gotten worse. Obviously it can’t repair a crack but it did slow/stop the damage and you can barely feel the crack now.

I've used these systems for years, both for my own guitars and my children's. Plenty of people use the humidifiers that you just add water to, but I've never been sure they were doing the job. When you're humidifying five or six instruments, this system does run into some money during the winter months when the heat is on and the house is dry, but we've got a couple of pretty special instruments, so I've always felt it was worth the effort.

No fuss, no muss solution for humidifying your guitars while they are stored in their cases. Simply replace the sealed packets when they dry up and you are good to go. The pouches can be a tight fit in the satin holders. BTW - be aware that these are "refills" only. You have to buy one of their kits first so that you have the satin holders to put them in...

Could not be easier! The packets turn hard when it is time to replace, only takes about 15 seconds to replace with new packets!

Just received the 3 packets. Too early to determine if they work on a dried out acoustic guitar. I will update this review in a few weeks. One negative is that the ad says the packets come with pouches to use to put inside your guitar. My order did not include the pouches which is definitely a negative.

My acoustic guitar was severely dehydrated and the body had sunk to the point where the guitar was more or less unplayable.I purchased these with some hope that they may help but I was blown away by the results.After two weeks in it’s case with this kit the guitar had rehydrated to the point where it was once again playable and strings that had fallen almost completely dead were now alive again up and down the fretboard.If you have a dry, dry instrument before you give up on it these are definitely worth a try to correct it.Saved my guitar for sure.

Sono molto soddisfatto. li uso da 6 anni. Nella mia zono l'umidità durante l'anno varia dal 30% al 70%, ma all'interno del case l'umidità resta fissa fra il 47% e il 56% e soprattutto le variazioni d'umidità all'interno son moolto lente.

La première fois que j'ai utilisé ce produit, je l'ai trouvé génial : j'ai pu remonter l'humidité de ma guitare parlor (bois massif) à 55%. Et cela a fonctionné pendant plus de 6 mois.Lors de ma deuxième commande cela n'a marché que pendant 1 mois.Et à ma 3ème commande, les sachets sont arrivés tout sec...Vu le prix, je laisse tomber ce système pour un autre a éponge, plus contraignant, mais plus fiable.
