This drain cover is great at filtering hair and soap scum. Very easy to install and fit. You will need a drain that has no trim or bars - it's got a long depth basket. Fits perfect in my drain. You won't be able to fill the tub of course. Works if you don't take baths. The basket comes out; you scoop out the gunk and rinse. Snap the basket back into its cover and it's ready to put back in to keep your drain clean and no clogs.

I was cleaning my shower when the stock drain cover came off. It was disgusting! I immediately tossed it and ordered this. I liked the idea of it being easy to clean and the basket being replaceable.Pros:- it was so easy to install. Snapped right in.- looks great. Love the black as it matches my other plumbing hardware.- easy to clean (so far). I have only emptied it once, but so far so good.Cons:-“disposable†hair catcher. I don’t love that you eventually have to throw the cup away. I would prefer something with more longevity, but what can you do.Overall, I think this is a great solution for catching hair and would purchase again!

They’re fine. They don’t fit my stupid drain but that’s because I’m in a rental house similar to a piece of poop. These things are super durable I can tell you because I used extremely sharp kitchen knives to try to cut them down to size.

Best catchers for your shower! I removed the cover on my shower drain, put the cup open side down, and put the cover back on the drain, but didn't screw it in place. Once a week, I remove the cover, pull out the cup, clean it or toss and replace.

Great product, fits shower pan and stays put. The design is exactly correct for the size we needed. Returned others because they wouldn’t fit in the recessed area around the drain this product drops in perfectly.

Bought these for our new master bath. It works like a charm. The amount of hair and other nasty stuff it catches is surprising. I know these are disposable but we try and clean and reuse them a few times before tossing. Will definitely buy more when these run out.

Oh my goodness, this product is a life saver! I used to have major problems with the drain in my master bathroom shower, I actually bought a drain snake because calling a plumber to clear my drain every 2 months is absurdly expensive. Then I got smart and started using various products to filter my shower drain. Most of these products are unsightly and all of them, including this one, requires removing whatever you have covering the drain in order to geth the filter in place. Voila! I no longer have to snake my pipes! This product is the best of the bunch that I've tried.Danco 10739 Hair Catcher Shower Drain Cover Replacement Baskets is a three-pack refill filter for a rather snazzy looking, affordable shower drain cover, which you should definitely buy. I've used other filters, which were much less aesthetically pleasing and much less effective. The drain cover is silver and it easily is attached to the filter, and then you just put it in the drain. The filter catches hair and whatever else might clog your drain, and when the filter is full you can just toss it and put in a new one, or try to clean it out to get more use out of it (this is not that easy and it is icky, but more frugal and environmentally friendly). You will need to get the drain cover in order to use these filter baskets, but trust me it is a good investment!

The product is a very nice one however its not designed for older shower stalls with standard bathtub and sink sizes from the 90's. To make it work you have to improvise a little. The top fits the shower base without the baskets and leaves a small bit of the round shower flange exposed at all four sides that allows all the water to drain from my Maxx glass shower stall. We couldn't re-pipe because its a finished basement and concrete floor so I can't use the baskets, but I do have a small hair catcher that was for the old sink that will fit in the shower drain and it will be easy to get to with the middle opening on this drain cap. I like it and its the best Ive found that lets the water drain well, Ive tried many things because the original is too thick and a little ill fitting that lets water sit and goes moldy and I refuse to use it.Thank you Danco for my almost perfect answer

Me parece bueno. Si atrapa mucho cabello. Mi único pero es más relacionado a la entrada del desague. Embona tan perfecto que se tapa y llena de agua la regadera con un poco de cabello acumulado. Le hice un agujero, se va algo de cabello pero es mas el que se queda atrapado y ya no se tapa por completo. Creo que podrÃa tener un mejor diseño para que no embone tan perfecto en el desague pero siga atrapando cabello
