I installed this along with the Danco 88103 Repair Kit. I'm not sure which one fixed the problem but the faucet no longer leaks so I'm happy. For the minimal cost I would suggest going ahead and replacing both parts. It can't hurt, and it was fairly simple to do and worth the time to fix that leaky faucet and not having to replace the whole thing.

Ordered from Amazon because that was the only place that I could find a picture of the product. Also I needed the particular ball that has the guide slot in the side. Other balls were available but did not indicate the slot. Also this ball from Amazon was free shipping and was half the price of others.

I used this to replace a badly worn valve ball. The old one was leaking around a drop per second, and the new one leaks a drop every few minutes. That's a big improvement, but less than perfect.

I bought this and a seal kit for my single handle delta faucet that had been dripping for ages. Worked beautifully and was quite easy to install.

Aftermarket junk, it's smaller and cheaper made. DON'T buy!!!!!!!!!!!!! Buy the real ball or you will get a faucet that won't shut off.
