Noise and vibration are held to a minimum to maintain cfm at higher static pressures. The motor has cast-aluminum end shields for greater heat dissipation and protection, resulting in less downtime and longer service life.

This is the exact replacement for my squeeling (and then dying and then dead) distribution blower on my Harman P68. Love that Dayton offers it and that Harman doesn't hide who made the part. Another of the many reasons to love Harman and why I recommend the stove to everyone. How to replace on the P-68? Even for an all thumbs guy like me... not a difficult job. I am writing every step here... the pros will laugh, but us non-handymen and women will understand:What you need: Socket wrench, socket wrench extension, crimping tool (or needlenose pliers), hack saw, insulated wire connectors (1 is male, 2 are female), and two small zip ties. If you don't know what a wire connector is, don't worry... you can follow the process below, and you'll see them and then you can go to store.1. Unplug the unit. Let it cool down. I waited about an hour.2. Remove both side panels. Use socket wrench or screwdriver.3. Remove the distribution blower. There are two screws holding the blower on the stove. There is one screw you loosen, and one you remove. The socket wrench with an extension is a must here because I don't know how else you can get to that screw you have to loosen. It does have a flat-head screw slot there, so a very long screwdriver could do it as well.4. Now the blower is disconnected. Now look for the three wires from the old blower connected to three wires on the stove. They are connected by an insulated wire connector. Cut off the two factory installed zip ties so that the wires are loose and visible.5. I diagrammed what color wire was connected to what and then disconnected the three wires. You could even put tape on each of the stove wire ends and write what color connects to it.6. I cut the three wires off the old blower and brought to hardware store to find replacements. You are buying 1 male and 2 females. I couldn't find the exact insulated cover shape that's on the original blower, but I bought the same gauge, and alas, they fit.7. When I got home, I connected my new insulated connectors to the other half on the stove - just to make sure they fit. Like I said, they did. Now all I have to do is put these new connectors on the new distribution blower wires. You will have written this down, but green gets the male connector, and the other two wires get the female. You will want to cut down the copper so it just fits in the neck of the connector. Then crimp.8. Interesting recommended thing to do: If you compare the old blower to the new, Harman has cut into the metal on the middle hole where the screw goes (on the open fan side). That way it just slides in to the screw that's still attached to your stove. If you don't want to hacksaw this, then you'll need to remove that second screw and figure out how to screw it back in when you put the blower back on. I hacksawed it... done in 5 minutes. Seems like much less work to just do what they did rather than try to get that screw out and back in.9. Time to reinstall. Reconnect the three wires as per your diagram. Slide the blower on to the screw still on the stove. Put the other screw back in and tighten. Tighten the other screw.10. Plug back in and test. The blower should come on after there is a fire in the stove. Once that comes on, shut it down again and unplug. It worked!11. Now ziptie the wires back the way you found them. Put the rear panels back on. Done.My blower working fine!

Sometimes things aren't always what they seem. We needed a new blower to replace one that had failed on our pellet stove. The part numbers matched and by golly it fit perfectly, The SJO wire lead is about 18" long and needed lugs but that is so that you can match to whatever you have to connect to. It is so nice when a plan comes together.

Of course the blower on our wood stove went out just as it gets cold 🥶 ! So using the number on the blower we had, I found this product, the replacement. Fingers crossed because none of the measurements from any other on Amazon fit. This product was the exact fit. Though the shipping date was a week out, or more, we got it in 2 days. Husband installed it easily and it's super quiet. It also blows out tons of warm air. Excellent product for the money. Seller shipped fast.

Perfect fit in a Harman P68. Old one decided to finally quit and Harman was nice enough to leave the Dayton label on it. This one is updated, made in China, not USA like the original from 2007.Fit in, only thing I had to do is cut off the spades that were on the old fan and I butt spliced with some heat shrink butts I had from Harbor Freight. You can get new ends but I had the butts.Don't buy the OEM for 3x times the price when this is quiet and works great. There is a built in fuseable reset of some type on there now too.

We ordered 2 of these fans late in the evening and they arrived 2 days later with an estimated delivery date of over a week. Very happy they came quickly as we were down to 1 blower on our stove and temps going down in the single digits. We put both new blowers on the day they came and they have been great. It has been barely a week since we put the new ones on and we could not be happier with the quality. They are quiet without rattling and blow forcefully, they work great. Kudos to a wonderful company.

This assembly was scheduled to be delivered next week, it came in today, that was awesome. Now when I opened the box it was packed with great care, the unit was so well built I honestly thought they sent me the wrong part, this unit is impressive, it fit in exactly the same way as the part I took off, there was a slight redesign in that there was a circuit breaker added on, install took no time at all and when I lit the stove I was amazed at how much better it worked , silent and airflow like u wouldn't believe, this company and product deserves every bit of the 5 stars I gave it

I purchased this blower to replace the one in my Harmond pellet stove. The original blower failed towards the end of last year’s heating season. This one was an exact fit and it works flawlessly.

So far so good, lots of flow, quiet, consistent. I wired the neutral through a thermo switch on the stove so it come on when it’s hot. Works great and I’m impressed.
