It is hard to tell from pictures but these are pretty small. However quality is great and they work as expected.

I purchased these with the intention of not using the included self tapping insert which should tell everyone that my review is biased towards a different usecase. I read in the description/QA section that these had 6mm threads. This was not the case. My calipers were showing 5.--mm . For this reason they did not fit the pre-threaded holes and would not work.

I installed these on the legs for my amp stand. All you need do is pre-drill. Easy install and quality build. They are small. Only about an inch. So don't be looking at the picture and think they are larger than they are. But they were perfect for me and my needs. Recommended.

Needed a replacement for my speaker stand flat bottomed spikes that wouldn't go thru carpet into OSB, and were rocking when somebody walked past them. These sharp spikes worked great, and also look great. Worth the money.

The cones are very short and I can barely get my fingers under the speaker to place the metal pads under them. The self adhesive pads for the metal disc can't be used. the metal pads need to slide if the speaker is bumped or moved. The sharp points would destroy and floor if the speaker is knocked off the pads and moved around. I can use these since I no longer have kids or pets running around.

No one would ever guess what I actually used these for. Not any speaker box. I actually used these in the bottom of the walking sticks I make custom. These are great for what I used them for. Most walking stick spikes have extra metal that takes away from the natural wood look. I just used a hammer and some wood glue. I'm sure these would be great for speaker boxes too.

I am using these floor spikes on a pair of Paradigm Reference Legend speakers. I didn't have to use the barbs or insert nuts. They screwed right in to the bottom of the speakers which already had metal screw holes. For small floor standing speakers, these floor spikes are a great bargain. I did notice better bass response after installing the spikes vs. having the speakers on the carpet without the spikes. Probably the simplest and least expensive way to upgrade your speakers.

Well made and nicely packaged. These have what you need to install a set of spikes on speakers that do not have them. You will need a large allen wrench and a drill. They are smaller than I expected do check the measurements. They would be good on a medium sized subwoofer or bookshelf speaker or s slim tower.

Me gusto el producto, es fácil de instalar.El único inconveniente, es mi piso, ya que si se mueve un poco, la cuerda de la flecha es muy corta, por lo que no alcanza a ajustar bien al piso, por lo que se debe de colocar una moneda pequeña adicional abajo para que alcance.

I just received my Dayton Audio Spike , I have a comment on this product .This softwood insert requires an Allen key to install it , but the portion of the Allen socket has no thread , so the spike only has 1/3 of the total length of the insert , to hold the spike ...So out of the inserts 3/8" total length ,you only have really 1/8" margin to adjust the spike to a level status .I personally have ordered an other brand of insert that leaves you almost the total length of the inserts thread , as adjustment . Important Note , the spikes thread are not SAE , there Metric M6-1. , so if you try and find an other brand of insert , look for M6-1 .And as already stated , shipping into Canada , is complex .Pitney Bowes brings you order to Canada , but then the package falls into a loophole , because Pitney Bowes does not give any service in Canada ...So the package get cleared by Can customs , and sleeps there until a shipper picks up your package and brings it to you doorstep ...My order stayed stuck for at least 7 or 8 days , before Post-Canada took it to my mail box ...And there no tracking during this portion of the shipping process ...So you better not count on fast delivery , unless Amazon changes to am other regular North-American Shipper ... UPS or Fedex ,,, But then shipping costs for non Prime Customers will rise , especially if they use Fedex

If you think that you don't need to level your speakers with these spikes you will be fine, but if need to unscrew the spike to level your speaker, think twice, because the screw on it it's a little bit short since the screw part on it is short, about 1/4 of inch.
