the kit has 17 pieces and I assumed ( wrongly) that it would work for a Ford 6.0 diesel engine. I was wrong! This kit doesn't contain the proper size to fit the 6.0 ford (through the glow plug fitting) nice kit for the money and the customer service from the seller is great, but it really didn't work out for me because it did not contain the proper size fitting for the 6.0 liter ford (otherwise I would have given it a 5 star rating)

Used this on a VW MK4 ALH engine. I had to remove the injector lines on a couple cylinders to get access. I'm very happy with this unit.

I have been a mechanic for decades. I needed a diesel compression tester for my son’s vanagon. This was inexpensive so I figured why not.. on the second cylinder out of 4 the gauge would not hold pressure any more, rendering it useless. I bought this almost 2 years ago, but it has sat in my climate controlled garage on the shelf next to all my other specialty kits. I would have been further ahead just running to harbor freight and spending an extra $20. I saw other reviews said the same thing. It has a nice case and the pieces feel ok, just a terrible dial meter.

When I measured low compression I checked the gauge with a high pressure air pump, and it was dead on.

There is no fitting that fit a 6.6 LML motor. You would mee to modify the 10 mm to make it work.

I read a few other reviews and decided to give this a shot, not really expecting much. When I unboxed this, I was skeptical to say the least, this thing is TINY! Plugged it into 120V 15 A. So far I've only run a 3/32 6011, but boy this thing is decent, especially considering my grinders weigh more. I found I can burn the 3/32 6011 around 75 A and get a nice crisp arc. Only drawback is I pop the breaker after 1 rod.The reason I only gave this 4 stars - The ground, stinger and cables are cheap. The stinger I received fell apart before the first use. Will be upgrading those to lincoln parts. If you are looking for something to replace a production welder, this isn't it. If you are looking for something cheap that will get the job done for small jobs around the house, you can't go wrong. I wil be installing a 220V plug soon and trry it again, I suspect this will run a lot better.
