I just put it on my 2002 sportsman 500 and it is smaller than the stocker but the plugs work, I guess this year came with two 2 pin or one 2 pin And one 3 pin connector. This CDI comes with two 2 pin connectors as does my ATV. I haven't drove it much yet but it does start and it goes full throttle and cruises so far. If I have any problems down the line I will edit.

2000 Polaris Sportsman 500, this part from this seller has double plugs. I need one double plug and one triple coming off of the box. Didn't fit they should update their fitment.

this was for a 2001 polaris sportsman 500ho said it would work and it only turns over with no spark. I would never purchase this product and since there are no returns on this item I am eating the bill...

This came just in time for our vacation and eliminated the cutting out and power loss. It is smaller and needed some padding for the bracket.

2000 Polaris Sportsman "bogged" when applying full throttle and was hard to start. Thought it was a fuel problem. Turned out the CDI was faulty. Found this replacement online and now the ATV starts right up and runs great.

this did not fit my 2000 sportsman 500, both plugs are two wire and mine had a three wire plug on it.
