I recently tripped on my laptop power cord which tore out the power supply wire and broke the piece inside . I was pretty concerned but this new plug in was cheap , and easy to install . There is also a video to help you install it . Piece of cake , now works like new .

The rubber grommet came out of the factory one. This made a quick fix, and it was a snug fit. I still had to get a new adapter as my factory one when charging was cutting in and out so must of had a bad wire in that. But works great now with the new adapter.

For relatively minimal cost and little work effort I was able to restore the power-charging jackport on my laptop. The part was a perfect fit, being either the OEM part or a near exact duplicate. Great buy with Prime expedient delivery.
