This is a very good quality valve lash adjuster tool. I've mainly used this on Honda engines but there are a number of Japanese engines that can use this tool. You can loosen or tighten the 10mm locknut and then simultaneously turn the adjuster screw with the slotted screwdriver to get the correct valve lash adjustment all in one shot.The tool is not 100% necessary, however, given the amount of room available around the valve train and since one hand is also holding a set of feeler gages, this tool just makes life easier. After adjusting, when tightening the lock nut the adjuster screw may turn slightly from the drag of the locknut. This can render your perfect adjustment not so perfect any more. This tool enables you to tighten the locknut and hold the adjuster still at the same time. It may not seem like it but this tool will save a significant amount of time since you only have to make the adjustment once on each valve and it's usually perfect.I know for a fact if you ever adjust the valves on a Honda car you'll be glad you got this tool. I'm very happy with it and it is a good value as well. Price the OEM tool (yes, there is one) and you'll see what I mean.

Easily the best simple tool I have used this year. If you tune Honda's (or any that use a 10mm) this is such an easy buy. I have one that cost over double and this is identical. You can remove the handle if you need to fit it in a tight space and you can get a wrench around the bottom 10mm socket opening if you need extra power than what the handle can provide for some reason.

Just what I needed to adjust my valves on my Acura integra. Tool built sturdy and seems like it should last for years to come. Must have for anyone who wrenches on honda / Acura engines
