I purchased this in 2013. We use it for transferring diesel to equipment at job sites. Since that time it has been in and out of several trucks countless times and traveled tens of thousands of miles. I will admit we like to add a small ratchet strap for extra security besides the mounting tabs. I am a 5'5" woman and weigh 120#. I am able to easily move it (empty) from it's stand at home to the bed of a truck. It has paid for itself many times over. First, because I can buy fuel when I happen to be at a cheap gas station. Second, the 106 gallon capacity allows me to have plenty of fuel without trying to keep track of all those diesel cans. Lastly, because I put a good electric pump on it. When everyone is standing around on the payroll waiting for a piece of equipment to get fueled, it only takes a couple minutes. I highly recommend this durable and quality made tank. 7 yrs of use and being stored outside and it's still looks great and leak free!

You cannot legally gravity feed from this tank into your vehicle fuel tank. There was a sticker right on top of the tank indicating such use would be illegal. The model number was identical to a tank I saw elsewhere for only a little more money that was legal for use as an auxiliary tank so I assume this one was the same unit. Certainly was not! I will update this review with a picture of the sticker when I have the opportunity because it should be included in the description of the unit. It would probably be a fine unit if you were going to use this tank to pump fuel into other equipment or even the vehicle that was carrying it if you have the overhead pump. I specifically wanted a tank you can gravity feed from!! FYI: This unit is not approved for gas transfer either. Very disappointed 🤯

Its solid, nice, does the job and generally appears to be decently built.One thing I may recommend is to wear GLOVES. Ours came with razor sharp aluminum 'burs' inside the screw cap and around the fittings. This can rip your skin wide open. While this can be typical of any aluminum products (especially those designed for outside use), its still something to simply be reminded of. Not a big deal - it works great and if I had the need for this much more capacity in the future - I would certainly but it again.

I've had this tank for 2 years and give it 5 stars. It is light enough to easily move in and out of my F150. It has only slightly discolored after being exposed to sun and rain for two years. I attached a manual pump and really like the setup.Edit: 4 year update. The tank is still exposed to weather and is holding up very well. The top of the included fuel cap is slightly oxidized but the tank hasn't changed since two year review. I will likely buy the same tank for more storage.Edit: 5 year update. Just as good as before. Too bad it's 50 percent more nowadays.Edit: 6 year update. It is still sitting under the edge of a pole barn, exposed to indirect rain, and has no corrosion. It's now doubled in cost (and so has fuel). I recently bought the half-size 50 gallon version to store unleaded. Tools and fuel, you can't have too much.Edit: 8 year update. No rust, no oxidation so I see no reason this tank won't last 50+ years. 5 star product. I don't know about expansion coefficients of diesel vs aluminum but if you fill the tank near the top in warm weather, it'll overflow when you loosen the cap when the weather turns cool.

Just installed the tank in the back of my truck. It is a well made product that came pressurized, which insured it did not have any leaks. The only negative was one of the mount flanges was bent slightly during shipping. Some protective packaging around the flanges would prevent this. Overall, I was very pleased with this tank as shown by the 5 star rating.

Good value for the cost. Came as described. Packaging is flimsy, some reviews mentioned damage, I got lucky because I could see how it could happen.
