I wanted a tray that could be used more than once this was the affordable alternative to the 35 dollars unit other folks wanted. Anyway grown lots of plugs in this style tray and it’s at least acceptable. I was looking for something like 78 star shaped cell but was unsuccessful

I feel like I have not been able to find a 'high capacity' cell tray that holds up for a decent price.. until now. I love these trays and were much cheaper than others that I found. They also held up well through the summer sun with multiple rounds of seed starting. I will be able to use for years to come! If I need more I will go straight back to these trays.

These cell seed trays are slightly larger than the 1020 flat trays that I have. I would have returned them but I don't have time to wait for a different brand to be shipped to me. If I trim off a row I can get them to fit on the 1020 flat tray.

I prefer the 288 cell trays, but these 200 trays surprised me. Adequate cell depth that tapers nicely. This helps to pack the trays with soil. Sturdiness is decent. I've used the trays through multiple seed starting sessions and they hold up for me.

The plastic is of a thickness and fairly flexible so the tray bends without cracking. This tray is not perforated so don't expect it to break into 6 cell packs. The plastic is thin enough that you won't want to pick up a tray of plants without some kind of support. They'll work well for my gardening means.

I try to plant in early May in the Chicago area depending on the lows each year. These help me get a head start. Use them year after year.

For the price, the quality is reasonable. Not heavy duty, but a bit thicker plastic than the McKenzie seed starting kit. These aren't as deep as the McKenzie ones, but they are deeper than traditional seed starter trays. I have a combination of these and reusable, heavy duty seed starter trays from Bootstrap Farmer. For the price, they are worth it, and with care, they should last for several growing seasons.

These are way sturdier than I expected for the price. I’m guessing they will last a few years at least! They look to be perfect for seed starting in limited space. The holes are about 1â€x1â€x2â€deep… perfect for small seedlings. I’ll be ordering the matching trays now that I’m confident the quality is good.

I have bought the rootrimmer 1020 deep trays in the past and the quality were good, BUT the 72 deep cell seedling tray is AWFUL, very cheap and FLIMSY. the title is very misleading and this brand loose a customer. oh by the way, the trays were not well protected in the shipping box and the corners were ruined. DON'T BUY THE 72 DEEP CELL, ITS GARBAGE.

Excellent product, when combined with a tray (seperate), for mass sowing of plants indoors.
