It works mostly as advertised. It seems reasonably accurate and will work for my needs. Really only 2 complaints: 1. sharp edges and 2. the lock doesn't do anything. It's pretty firm to move it, but you loosen or tighten the knob and it doesn't change at all.

This ruler is perfect for all the lose odd cuts that you need to make. We recently started to replace the soffits around our roof line and with all of the dormers this ruler was a perfect for that. Definitely worth buying and it will be used for other projects too.

I purchased to replace one that was stolen out of my car at a job site. I cut crown moldings, so I need a fairly accurate way to measure wall joint angles.I received this item. it looked nice enough. I noticed that there was a large amount of wiggle that seemed to be built into the tool. This wiggle appears to be due to the poor machining or shoddy manufacturing. This sloppiness cannot be adjusted out. You can move the two scale legs about 5 to 10 degrees without it registering in the digital readout. The hinge point of the two scale legs is sloppy. (hole too big or hinge post too small) Either way this tool is unusable. I will be throwing it away. BUYER BEWARE !!Not only would I not recommend this, but I would also warn potential buyers to look elsewhere.

Good tool but have to be careful when using as the unit’s stainless edges are sharp. Another concern is the dial indicater moves at times even when set tightly some times. Overall I rate the tool as good, not great.
