I am really enjoying using this heat gun in my epoxy resin work. It is 9.4†which is not really mini to me at all! That is a pretty long piece to hold! However, perhaps they are considering it a mini because of the open area of the nozzle. As you can see, that area is small. And that is important for me when I am making things such as earrings because I don’t want to harm my silicone molds with too much heat. When you are working with small molds or small containers containing resin, having a small end is very important so that you don’t overheat your cups and molds.I also ordered a much more known brand of heat gun at almost the same time as this one because I thought that they were completely different sizes. But there was less than an 1/2 inch difference in length! And interestingly enough the amount of heat is greater with this heat gun here!🤩 Additionally, the power of the air going through this gun is not quite as powerful as the other one. That is a HUGE benefit! That means that this heat gun pops bubbles better and heats the resin up better at the same time. More fan power is not a benefit when it is too much fan power.I LOVE that it comes with the other ends. That way I can use it to make the ocean waves effect that is So Fun!🤩The one con is that this unit doesn’t come with a silicone tip to protect hands or objects from heat when you set it down. However, it does have a stand that works well.Overall, for it’s superior heat, and touch lower fan, this is definitely a 5 star product for me!

I like this little heat gun for numerous projects. Great for basic basic DIY or beginners. I have used it to loosen linoleum, get bubbles out of epoxy resin pour projects, remove some sticker labels off glass jars, and burn the edges of wood art projects. It comes with 2 metal attachments, one curved about half way and the other horizontally long one. The gun gets hot pretty quick and has a high and low option. It has a little bar that acts as a standTo allow the gun to cool down before storing. Overall works great, definitely gets hot enough for the various projects I've used it for so far. For this price right now of $14 it's a great deal! 10/10

Works great for heat shrink tubing, plastic shrink wrapping. and other craft uses like resin casting and even smoothing 3d prints or removing stringing on them. Has 2 different temperature settings and heats up fast and gets very hot quickly. Has a handy built in stand so you can set it down without worries. And come with a few special nozzles for various uses. Has a long 6 foot cord and is a nice size compared to my other large heat guns making this one a go to when I just need to heat shrink some electrical tubing. And it's on sale for half price so I bought another one so my wife can have one too. Recommended.

I wanted to use this for some smoothing of 3d prints and a handful of other tasks. It's really loud, though I'm not sure if that's normal or not? It does get pretty warm and I'm able to melt and shape my PLA prints without a huge amount of effort. It's pretty lightweight and easy to move around and the power cord is long enough that it doesn't give me any issues

Really nice hot gun. Not too big and fits perfectly in your hand. Comes with some attachments that will become quite hot when on, so be careful. Has a built in stand to keep the hot tip off your working area.
