My 1994 GMC Sierra would only start when cold and only run for a short time if it did start. A friend recommended I change the coolant temp sensor. (I did mess up the one that was on it while doing an intake manifold job.) Anyway, I came on to Amazon and this one looked like a good part for a good price, not the most expensive but not the cheapest either. I put it as soon as I got it, now my truck will start whenever you want it to! All that to say, this part works fine!

Other than being a bitch to get out and access, that part is on GM, it is a great sensor and came pre coated on the treads with tread sealant to prevent and cooling system leaks. Delphi products are generally awesome.

Works and easy installation on 93 Silverado 454 7.4 . be aware vehicles like mine use 3 temp sensors 2 are identical and 1 is not; this sensor is the one in the front ( two terminals). Verify before you order

Great fit on GM truck to replace original part. There has been long term confusion regarding the exact name and purpose for this part: Sensor or Sender. Pay attention to body, thread and its destination (driver side, passenger, top front intake). This one is for top front intake.

i always try to buy delphi where possible for gm cars. MANY of the ac delco are simply re boxed delphi anyway. this sensor fixed the issue and stopped the code. temps show as normal now. thank u!

I bought this for the temperature gauge for my 1992 K1500. However, this is not the one for the gauge that goes on the cylinder head. This goes on the intake manifold for the computer temperature. It does work well though

The last thing you want to find out when you remove the old sensor from the block is that the new one doesn't fit. So, look and see if your engine has TWO yes 2 sensors. I had to ask the Chevy parts guy. Boy did I feel dumb. It works great and my temp gauge works now.

Change along with o2 sensor as part of a tune up on older tbi engines , both of these sensors determine fuel mixture. If either one is older and lazy , mpg and idle quality will suffer . Quality part , worked perfectly.
