Before this fan my bathroom had no ventilation. None. The walls and ceiling would drip with water after a shower and I constantly had to mop them with bleach to kill the mold and mildew that was inevitable.I absolutely love this ventilation fan. I did a lot of research, and often found this model to be in the top 5 best fans. Thats why I decided on it. It has a great pull when its running to move the air out and it passes the "tissue test." I was able to get mine ventilated to my chimney (rather than my attic) so my concerns about the mold are gone. When I shower now the glass on my mirror doesn't even fog up. The fan itself is amazingly quiet. The heater on this fan is a little louder than expected. The heater is louder than the fan. It is not bad, but it did surprise me. It doesnt bother anyone when its running and they are asleep. The heater is amazing and it has no trouble warming up my bathroom, and the fan and the heat actually seem to work well together. I had concerns the fan would just pull out all the heat, but it doesn't. They work great together. The light is not the brightest. I wouldn't want it as my only source of light. I have additional lights in my bathroom, so it is not a problem for me.One thing that I did not think of when I bought this is because of the heater it must be installed on its own breaker. I had a qualified electrician install mine, but it did run me some money to get it installed on a new breaker with new wiring that had to go through my garage, basement, a downstairs bathroom, up the wall and into the ceiling. I also did not have an existing hole in my ceiling, and my attic is not the most easily accessible spot. So it was a bit of an extensive process. In my opinion, it was worth the cost.I am completely satisfied with this fan. It does an amazing job and I enjoy the luxurious heat and warmth when I step out of the shower. But best of all I have not had to mop my ceiling and walls!

So far I’m in love with this product. My bathroom was always so cold and I don’t like space heaters in the bathroom because safety issues I have little kids and I was so afraid of them getting hurt but this product solves that problem and it heats up the whole bathroom so fast and fan also works great. The noise is very low in comparison to the fan we use to have. I’m so happy with my purchase.

Pluses: (1) it's well built (not to be confused with well designed), e.g., sturdy. (2) the exhaust fan is quiet (Delta puts green LEDs to signal the fan is 'on' on some of their fans that are noisier) -- you wont hear it *at all* when showering. (3) the heating fan is loud, but it's almost supposed to be and does produce decent amount of heat. (4) The cover design is Ok, the way the cover attaches is nice (5) the LED module delivers a lot of light and is of pleasant-to-tolerable color temperature (probably 3500K) -- I almost wanted it to be warmer (3000K?). No way that the color temperature is 2700K specified in the description.Neutrals: (1) this requires a separate 20 amp circuit for the heater. If you don't have one already -- figure in 60-80 cents per foot for 12 gauge wire and more labor.Negatives: (1) I don't know why Delta does it -- this (and other fans of theirs) have a "lip"/flange, which, in theory is supposed to hug the ceiling on the underside. The thing is that when installing with cross-bars (and RAD110LED can ONLY be installed with cross-bars) you HAVE TO move the entire fan box through the ceiling opening (even if installing from above), so the opening has to be larger than the size of the "box" + the "lips"/flanges. It means you'll have at least 1/4" crack around your fan to fill post-install. (2) the fan goes between the joists, yet they made the electrical access (specifically the screw holding the electrical "door") on the long side (that faces the joist) -- depending how close your joists are and where you need the fan to be between them (+ you may need to orient it one specific way, depending where you want the exhaust to go) you may not have access there even with the stubbiest of screwdrivers, or a 90-degree one/attachment. Electric access has to be on the shorter, more accessible side or the screw should go from inside. (3) It would seem Delta used aluminum leads for all connections. Aluminum does not mate with copper well (read about it), even Nutone (arguably, cheaper brand) uses coppers leads. Why? Did they save 5 pennies? (4) No green LED to signal the fan is on (minor, as it is addressable with an indicator switch). (5) [this is closer to neutral] -- you can only direct heated air in one of the two ways, more flexibility (but without spoiling clean look) would be nice. (6) Also, especially given the LED light, a lower profile cover would have been nicer (e.g., like on GBR100LED). RAD110LED protrudes more than 1" below the ceiling.

This fan/heater works great. Installed this 6 months ago and it works well and is silent.

Well, it's early, but initial impressions are impressive. Instructions were clear and concise. All parts were clearly labeled and easily went together. This unit seems very well made (but time will tell) and is easily recommended. The light (although kind of an odd bulb) is very bright and is instant on. The fan blows lots of air and is quiet but not silent (which is exactly what I wanted). The heater is very quiet and blows good hot air. This unit, at least initially, is very impressive and is easily worth the price. My only real suggestion would be making the hole for tucking the wires to be just a little larger. With a triple switch, it ends up being a lot of wires, tape, and wire nuts to stuff into the hole. They fit, but just a little more room would be handy and appreciated. Thanks

an electrician put this in so don't how how hard/easy installation is ordinarily but he replaced a separate light and separate heater feature with this 3 part combo- ran the exhaust thru the roof. took about 2-2 1/2 hr but he was meticulous and thorough. it left a hole in the ceiling where the other 2 separate parts were so take that into consideration; he did 'plug' them with formed pieces of the removed sheetrock to fill in the spaces, but someone will need to come tape/float/paint at some point. still- I like the unit and would buy it again. just be aware your electric bill might go up if you forget it's on and it runs a long time. it's nice and quiet, esp after you hear the initial fan building up to speed ;')

Love this exhaust fan! Paid a little bit more than the usual fan but definitely well worth it. I didn't even know you could these with a heater. They are not that easy to find. I'm sure glad I found this one. Our bathroom is usually cold in the winter. We just turn on the heater for about 5 minutes and it's nice an cozy. It actually too hot after awhile. Exhaust is great..super quiet and does a great job. My husband is pretty handy but we decided to hire an electrician this time around .. because of the heater. We decided to set up the light, exhaust and heater on their own switchs so we just as needed. Super happy with our purchase.

I bought this fan to replace a very old one I had in my bathroom, which I’m sure was installed in the 70s. Really had a difficult time finding one locally, with similar dimensions than the one I had so I didn’t have to get into ceiling replacement or repair.I also have a heat pump so if the bathroom door is closed for an extended time the bathroom gets quite cool. Came across this one during an amazon search and loved that it had so much information online. After reading reviews for this and other fans, I decided on this one.Have only had this installed for about two weeks, but love it. The fan is quieter than I expected. The heater is probably twice as loud as the fan, which is still not as loud as the fan I took out. Heater doesn’t take long to start producing warmth and can turn my cold bathroom warm in a matter of minutes. Have fan and light on one switch and heater on other. I never have to have the heater on when it isn’t needed. Overall this is everything I wanted in a bathroom fan and more.

Its a good and high quality product,Noise level is very good , its is installed beside my bedroom and i can use it during the night due to low noise and vibrationInstallation is not easy as the guidelinesCouldnt install the product with Brackets because of tickness of the roof, so I did different method to installI recommend the company to put the brackets on the top of the prduct's box. That will help during the installation.
