Your cart is empty.DEI Pipe Wrap is used in many types of applications for reducing unwanted and harmful heat under the hood and from entering the driver compartment while improving horsepower. Pipe wrap improves performance and can be used on everyday vehicles, motorcycles, street rods, muscle cars, SUV's RV's heavy duty truck & tow vehicles, as well as in many non-automotive applications. Kit includes one roll of 2" x 25' exhaust wrap and four 8" stainless steel locking ties to secure wrap. Note about Titanium Exhaust Systems: DEI does NOT recommend wrapping Titanium exhausts. The alloys used in the production of titanium exhaust systems tend to be thin and are designed to dissipate heat quickly. By wrapping the exhaust, the additional heat can make the titanium alloy turn brittle and prone to premature cracking. DEI recommends using alternatives such as their flexible heat shields when seeking to reduce the heat on titanium exhaust systems.

I used this on the new GrimmSpeed V2 jpipe / downpipe for my 2017 WRX. It is a bit trickier to use then it appears as the material has a bad tendency of unraveling while you try to use it and mine later seemed a bit "frayed" with little bits of the material sticking up. Not a big deal as it will be well out of sight and seems to be doing it's job well enough to keep temperatures down in my engine bay.Do not use metal zip ties. I found that they were virtually useless even with the specialized DEI ratchet tool or needle nose pliers. Do yourself a favor and buy the metal wormgear clamps from the local hardware store. Much easier to install and provides a tight secure fit for the wrap.The titanium wrap does not necessarily need to have their high temperature silicone spray to keep it water resistant but I opted to use it anyway to be on the safe side. I did several light to medium coats and used about 3/4 of the DEI spray can. Hopefully it will last.

I used water to make it more pliable and help me stretch it out over the pipe. It will get your hands black as MLK, but you should wear gloves to prevent that. It also will emit some "stank" until it gets completely burned in, so expect fumes and smoke for the first several rides.

Great product for my 5.3 Silverado (2005). After rebuilding the motor and throwing on some headers, I was burning through my plug wires. I was running performance wires (in heat socks) but still didn't help much as the wire causing the issue couldn't be kept far enough away from the header. That's where this came in!. I ended up wrapping the plug wire itself with this as well as the header, using the provided metal zip ties on the wire, and running hose clamps on the header. Nothing against the provided ties, just needed more than 4. I bought the hi-temp silicone paint and allowed for it to get hot and seasoned (the smell is pretty bad too, but only lasted roughly 30 mins). Overall, great product, just wish I would have known the Titanium version of this wrap doesn't require the silicone paint.

The wrap looks of good quality but when I received the package, it was missing the steel ties. I had to purchase steel worm clamps to make it work.

Works good so far, my duals go right over my axle and it wore through where it touched quickly. Had to shift pipes up for more clearance. Make sure theres no contact.

Able to reduce heat significantly on my bike's exhaust running just next to my calves and radiating heat right up my thigh. Packaging says the kit includes a metal tie tensioning tool but none was included. The ties were decent but not secure enough in my opinion. Good to invest in some hose clamps.

Applied on motorcycle pipes, looks great. Haven't rode enough to see if they fade.They will smoke for awhile and smell but it goes away after awhile. Easy to apply just make sure you wear gloves and coveralls because of the fiberglass in the wrap. Good stuff

The product is good and does what it says. After it dried and was heated up by the pipes it was a little too shiny for my liking.
