It is a good replacement for my original tripod microphone stand that had inferior plastic parts. This microphone stand seems more durable iron screw connector, and the tripod legs are easily designed to fold and unfold.

I use these to audio record depositions. I have the same ones from 20+ years ago and the mini legs get loose. One fell out. This newer design, even though they look exactly the same are much better. Replaced the old legs with exact fit. Nice and tight.

Great size. Enables me to carry a mini tripod inside the small camera bag and it holds my digital SLR. It gives you a few inches adjustible lift off the table. Also, with cell phone clamp it supports your phone as well.
