The instructions for these shelves were a little confusing considering that it's just a few boards and screws. Also, the descriptions says it comes with a screwdriver, which it didn't. For me, that's actually better, since I prefer my cordless screwdriver over the flimsy ones that usually come with these things. After it's assembled, you end up with two structures that can be put together in several different ways. Except that they don't get attached to each other, so they can fairly easily be moved separately. The boards are fairly thin particle board, so they probably wouldn't hold a lot of weight. But it's a nice-looking shelf and versatile.

I love how these look while also organizing some of my desk mess. The bottom right space amazingly did accomodate my large books though in the end I didn't put them there. It's slightly too short for binders though. It was easy to put together but the pictures of the separate pieces on the instructions along with the suggestion of 'labeling each piece beforehand to correctly assemble' was daunting at first. (No worries though, you basically have 2 of each board and all the same screws-screwdriver not included though) It sits nicely and is pretty sturdy for what it is. I will say however that the quality of the pieces themselves was a little lackluster. There were a couple tiny divots but mostly it was the dirt and scuffs on them that I found problematic. A quick wipe with surface cleaner on a cloth didn't do much but I'm sure something with some texture could. I work in a shop however, with machinery in my office, so for me it's just a sign of what it'd look like in a month anyway. There is also some paint overflow on the edges where it meets the laminate. Between that and the blackened edges along where the paint maybe SHOULD have been I'd say that if you're going for a pristine office look, just possibly prepare to do a little touching up. Otherwise though it really elevates even the most common deskspace :)

This little shelf is easy to assemble. The shelves can be arranged in a few different ways. They are big enough to put standard paperback books on or a few smaller knick-knacks. A cute way to fix up a little bit of clutter.

This desktop bookshelf is decent at organizing my desk items. I wanted an area to designate and me my books as I’m getting ready to start back up at college. There are multiple areas to utilize for books. Since this is two bookshelves put together to create a design, it means there are multiple ways to make sure it can work for your needs. It was quick and easy to put together. A paper tray fits perfectly under the bottom shelf. The shelves aren’t the sturdiest though, slightly wobbly but not horrible, just something to remember. Probably best to make sure to disperse weight evenly just to be safe (mainly because I’m going to be using heavy textbooks).

These were easy to put together but I suggest laying the shelves on their sides when screwing together. The shelves are plastic coated particle board but are sturdy. It fits perfect behind my computer to help keep my desk tidy. Definitely great shelves for the price.
