Took me a minute to assemble with the lil tool that was provided with the package but it was easy to put together, and due to previous reviews, i was slightly worried about the package condition or part being missing but i at the end of assembling i ended up with extra screws with no parts missing or damaged despite the pact the original package looked like its been through some tough journey, amazon packaging were spot on. Its bigger than i thought so that was also a plus and its sturdy enough for my cat to jump up and down without it being too wobbly. This the perfect example for best bang for the buck. Well spent $20!

I was worried because this item had few reviews, but it is very worth the purchase!Pros:Inexpensive - great furniture for the priceWell packaged - wood pieces had corner protectors, screws and hardware were packaged separately so you didn’t have to sort through themWell made - I like the metal construction. The wood pieces had hardware to keep the screws from splitting the wood. I don’t know how the weight capacity is but fine for my purposes, I don’t need anything heavy. I don’t know if it could store something heavy or bulky like a printer, but if you do there were wall anchors included to keep it from tippingEasy to assemble - instructions were pictures and easy to follow, they advised two people needed but I assembled myself in about 20 minutes. Only tool needed was a hex wrench which was includedConvenient - the sizing listed was accurate, it fits my desk perfectly and my monitor fits even with a riser shelf beneath it. Shelves seem sturdy and help clear a lot of spaceCons:The only downside for me is the wood is a different finish than my desk. This is very much a distressed wood looking finish/industrial style, and I prefer just a more plain finish. But my desk is a few years old and I don’t think the plain finish is as popular anymore, most of this style furniture is similarOverall I am really happy with the item and glad I went for it

Very pleased with this shelf. It was easy to assemble and provides extra storage I needed on top of my lateral file cabinet. The wood shelves are a bit darker than expected but that's not an issue for me. I would have given an extra star if the levelers for the shelf had rubber grips. I had some in my stash and added them to the bottom of the levelers. Without rubber grips, the shelf tends to slide around. (It wouldn't slide if I anchored it to the wall, but I don't have anything on it that makes it top heavy and prefer not to attach it.).I bought it on a 50% off sale and given the sturdiness and size, I think i got a great value.

My daughter picked this out for her freshman dorm desk. Dorms are very small at her university, and she needed the extra space. It was easy to put together, looks nice, and has been an excellent solution for her to both store and display decor on her desk while giving plenty of space underneath for a lighted mirror and workspace for her computer, etc. Happy with the purchase!

Pros: It's the right size for what we need and was easy to assemble. The footing only needed some minor adjustment to avoid wobbling.Cons: It does require some detailed thinking as you put it together. The instructions stated I needed to use the "B" screws for a step, and when I did, the screws punched right through the wood shelf. Apparently I needed to use the unlabeled screws for this step instead - so just be aware the labels may not match what you're "supposed" to do, and it may take some tightening/loosening in places to where the whole thing stands sturdy.For the price, could be worse, and the damage caused by faulty labels/directions is something I can live with.

We got this to use in our daughter’s dorm room. It fits on top of her desk perfectly, and is very sturdy.

It won’t stay in place, the little gel tabs at the bottom don’t help it stay down it’s easy for it to just slide off my desk without something anchoring it

The boxed pieces were protected with sheets of styrofoam and the shelf corners were protected with slide on ribbed plastic pieces; a couple of the corner protectors cracked while doing their intended job of shock absorption. All of the pieces were properly labeled and there was no missing hardware. The instructions were simple; as with any shelving unit, you assemble it one side at a time, and don't over-tighten the screws to avoid cracking the MDF. The wire grid can be easily added or removed after assembly. The bottoms of the leveler feet have nylon pads to protect the desk top. I think the scruffy barn wood look is really unattractive but my stuff mostly covers it up. The carton is heavy for one person and I used a hand cart to bring it inside.

Nice over the desk option.Great space between the desk and first shelf, fits easily a big screen/monitor.Quite strong, filled it with books and a few other things.Strong bars holding the shelves.Recommend easily
