DeWalt is an brand that we trust. I ordered this drill/ impact driver set to make sure hubby has what he needs for his projects. The impact driver works great and will save wear and tear on his regular drill.So many cordless tools are being sold "raw"... without a battery, so the fact that this set came with 2 batteries makes it a great value. Plus, the batteries came fully charged.Hubby loved the carrying bag as well, and it has plenty of room to add his other DeWalt drill, batteries, and accessories so that everything is in one place.

My husband loves the fact that the bag is smaller than his other bags! It will be easier to bring a few tools when he goes somewhere to help than with his larger bags! Also, he says it is nice to have more than of some tools and these tools are ones needed for many jobs. They are great quality, function well and the price was good! He would definitely recommend this go everyone!

Possibly the best value tool package out there. Great for quick jobs around the house or about anything else a hobbyist would need it for. The two batteries included have plenty of life. Dewalt obviously makes quality tools but usually are prohibitively expensive.

the trick to this deal is that is has two VERY TINY batteries. 1.3 AH each. Most people would not be happy with that size battery, and instead would want 3 or 5 AH batteries.but i actually have a use for these small (and very lightweight) batteries for use in a different tool, so i was happy with this kit.the drill and driver are first rate

I was given an older model as a gift one Christmas years ago. i used them for every project, and my corded drill became a shelf piece. Well it ended up finding a new home. So I ordered this set when Amazon had a sale. I am not a product fan boy, I am a right tool for the job at the best price. I am glad I went back to these. The new LEDs are so much brighter than the old models. The speed and torque settings are still perfect. Use 1 for snug and 15 to make sure it never comes lose. These tools feel like the same quality, so they will last for years to come.

I bought this set to get into the Dewalt 20V battery line of tools. I was somewhat skeptical, because I use them mainly in an industrial setting, and the brushless models are becoming quite popular. However, I have used them thoroughly and have not had an issue. This set works great and is extremely perfect for home or professional use. I would suggest upgrading to larger (maybe 5AH) batteries if you are going to use them for long periods of time. The charging station will charge any 20V Dewalt batteries. Both the drill and driver have seen prolonged use without issue.

Do not buy this if you live in the UK. I have no idea whether this item is good or bad. It came with what appears to be an American charger. There was no warning on the box or the charger that this would fail if plugged into the UK mains.
