After research, I opted for this brand over its red and white competitor due to price. This expander has been an excellent choice and has certainly made installing the Pex A expansion connections a breeze. My son has always used crimps and Pex B from the big box stores and complains about the hand crimpers every time. After research, I went with Pex A and ordered all tubing, fittings and expansion rings from Amazon and have had great success installing and repipeing portions of the garage water and air lines.

No surprises. Came with charger and two batteries. No tools required to set up for different Pex A diameters. Plenty of power to do the intended job. Tool will stand upright on battery. Need to pay attention to instructions regarding lubricating tool head. Getting dirt in expander mechanism likely will cause problems but there is probably little that can be re-designed to avoid the issue. Hint; in cool conditions use a heat gun to warm up the connection you are making before inserting the expander tool; extends the amount of time before the Pex-A shrinks onto the connector.

Bought it to do replumb a bathroom, used it for 6 hours, did a great job. Sold it with all my extras left over, basically the replumb was free.

A bit expensive but The DEWALT 20V PEX Expander is a fantastic tool for plumbing projects. It's powerful, easy to handle, and expands PEX tubing quickly and evenly. The battery life is impressive, and the tool's build quality is top-notch. Highly recommend for any DIY or professional plumber!

Came in time for my job I'm doing tomorrow but I opened it only to see it came with two 3/4" heads instead of a 1/2" head. Extremely disappointing.
