I have had this in my wish list for a while, and when I saw it on sale for about 30% off I jumped! What a great set. The materials are top notch (as expected from DeWalt). The case keeps everything in place really well. Very, very happy!

I bought this set whben I was replacing all the doors in my house and drilling for lock sets. The tool is what you would expect from DeWalt... good quality.

Picked up the 14-pc kit as well as 3 other individual saws beyond those included in the kit.Pros:- Hole saws themselves performed well. Very sharp and stayed that way through initial hardwood holes. No issues with threading.- Case was very nice. (would have preferred a bit more space to hold a few more sizes that I added later)- Nice to have included the pilot bit replacement kit...which was needed on the third hole unfortunately!Cons:- One pilot bit bent on the third hole. Never had a pilot bend before! Poor quality control...DEWALT usually top notch. Reminds me when I began to see very soft Craftsman bits show up as more China parts included there.- No sizing chart included on the inside of my case, same as mentioned by another reviewer.

Used DEWALT hole saws for years, have had the least amount of issues with their release systems.Appearance and Quality (4 out of 5)Nice high contrast yellow, will quickly strip off exposing underlying metal with decent use. The case itself is actually quite nice, and keeps all the bits fairly snug with minimal rattling. These are bi-metal bits so I wouldn't recommend this for everyday or contractor use.Price (5 out of 5)I feel with the quality and performance of this product the price is well worth it.NOTE: As long as you keeps the parts free of debris when you connect them you shouldn't have much issue getting them apart again. This seems to be the biggest issue with hole sales in general.TL;DR Excellent product, will buy again, would recommend to a friend.

This is a great set/kit for those like me who bore a wide range of holes. Used two of the sizes to bore 4 dozen holes and the hole saws performed well. I generally drill 3/4s of the way through the wood, flip the piece over and finish the hole from the opposite side to prevent tear out and to prevent the loose piece from jamming inside the hole saw. But even when the loose piece jammed, it was easy to remove. Seem sharp, stayed sharp, perfectly happy with the set.

I've tried many of the so called universal, cheap, economy, bargain hole saws over the years only to have wasted money. This was a no brainer way to go. Not only do they cut through wood, thick wood, and plastic but work great for cutting holes in metal with precision. There is NOTHING like having the right tool for the job. I've been purchasing a couple saws a month and will do so until the collection is complete. I do a lot of woodworking and craft building and these are great for everything.

Edit:Thanks to Pedantic Aussie, below, for pointing out that most centering bits on hole cutters have a hex bolt on the side to adjust the length of the bit.I already sold my set to my friend but a quick call confirmed that this set does in fact have adjustable centering bits.So I am an idiot and have adjusted my rating to be in accordance with my friends satisfaction with the set and now I just feel bad for making a crappy original review.Original review:I needed a hole cutter set and I have always appreciated Dewalt's quality.The centering drill bits don't extend past the cutting edge of the circle saw teeth, so its VERY difficult to keep the cutter from walking. Kind of irritating. I am trying to figure out a way to work around this but so far they're just gathering dust on my shelf right now.

Definitely not the same quality as my Sutton Vipers but not too bad for the money. My only gripe is the mounting pins don’t line up with all the holes and can be a real pain to get them mounted
