I got this because I've had to buy a few different sizes for brick cores lately, and I figured it'd be worth having around if it comes in handy (and keeps me from having to order something) even once.Note that you are not supposed to use these on hammer, but rather drill-only mode, but I will admit that every core I've done in my very hard brick, I simply could not deal with how long it was taking after a while and resorted to hammer mode. I'm telling you this because my SDS-Max Demo Hammer doesn't even have a rotary-only mode, although I know some do. That said, it's nice to have both adapters, and they are a particular size and thread for this application, and these are nice (compared with long core bits) in that they have a pilot hole (whereas, with long wet/dry core bits, I guess you don't need it with a core drilling machine, but if using a drill, you need to make a jig to keep everything lined up).So, no, they are not amazing quality, but they do an alright job. I guess I'd really prefer a wet core bit on a proper machine meant for coring, but that setup is quite $$$$.

For the price it did the job I needed to do and did it well. Through cement block and brick at the same time. Only problem was the bolt holding the center bit in kept coming loose.

This is a mixed review due to some inherent design challenges that preclude a 5 star rating. First, of the bits included, none of them really are suitable for drilling a hole through concrete from a single side (such as a sidewalk) or for that matter, from anything thicker than a 2 1/2" wall. The reason is the fact that the internal depth of the hole saw is only 2" at which point it bottoms out on the concrete. Even with the index bit extending a bit over 1/2" beyond the hole saw, there is not enough depth capability to break through with the index bit to locate a point to drill from on the opposite side. The option to support a hole through a wall greater than 2" but less than 4" is to pre-drill an index hole all the way through from one side so as to align the hole saw. I achieved one hole that could only be drilled from one side by first drilling through (a stone) boulder to maximum depth, then using a hammer drill to break up the internal material, vacuum it out and resume drilling. If your drilling needs are relatively shallow, such as through a concrete countertop, this may meet your needs but even then, it will be a rough bore. I also highly recommend pre-drilling the hole for the index bit even for a shallow depth hole - it is not particularly aggressive in cutting and you will spend a lot of time just closing to the point where the hole saw teeth will engage. This is clearly a specialized but limited tool. If rough holes in shallow concrete are your need, this may meet it.

Love this kit, use it for work running conduit. I think it’s better than the kits that are much much more expensive. Best value and works really good.
