This digital temperature controller is extremely easy to program and provides precise temperature control within 1/10 of a degree, just as advertised. I use it to regulate the temperature in an elevator room, keeping the hydraulic fluid within a stable 75-85°F range. Setting it up is straightforward—I simply set the low limit to 75°F and the high limit to 85°F. When the temperature falls below 75°F, the heater automatically turns on, and when it exceeds 85°F, the heater shuts off. It has functioned flawlessly every time. The LED display is bright white against a black background, making it easy to read. One amusing detail is that one of the buttons is labeled "Fun" instead of "Run" due to what seems like a misprint. The manual even instructs users to press the "Fun" button to start the program, which gave me a chuckle. However, this minor labeling error doesn’t affect the functionality of the controller at all. While I can’t yet speak to its long-term durability, I’m very satisfied with this purchase so far.

My analog BUNN VP17-1 thermostat has a wide hysteresis and was overshooting and boiling water creating a mess between batches of coffee. @ $50+ dollars I decided to rewire and use an external thermostat. I fit the provide probe with a food grade silicone hose and submerged 255mm into the thermal tank reservoir. Works great and let's me know what is happening inside. Currently overshooting target by 1 degree but cools onto target before next pot is brewed, I suspect the old analog thermostat did worse. Quite happy with a solution 1/3rd of OEM digital feedback allows me to set different Temps based of what style of coffee I am roasting. Of note I could still plug in another appliance below without compromise. Very nice clean installation. Very nice to have a visual indication the temp is the perfect brew temp!

I wanted a thermal switch to run a 1500 watt oil filled radiator in my unheated cellar to keep pipes from freezing. I tried the little yellow cube units with a built in thermal switch and outlet, but I learned that they do no work consistently with high current devices - the current warms them up so they turn off even though the ambient temperature is still low. This unit didn’t cost that much more, has a nice digital readout, and lets you set both the on and off temperatures. I have been using it for about a month to control the 1500 watt heater, and have not had any problems yet -it works fine, and there is no sign of overheating or scorching that other buyers have complained of. I have verified the on and off temperatures with a separate temperature senor.

I'm using this to control a 500 watt Amazon heater to heat my 3D printer enclosure to prevent layer separation. I run out printer in our basement which is cooler that the rest of our house. This thermostat and the heater keeps the area in the enclosure at a nice 80 degrees.Easy to setup.

This is a great little unit. I use it in my small basement in conjunction with a portable heater. I can set the temperature where I want to have it cut on and cut off and this allows me to keep paint and things like that above freezing in the winter without having to heat the whole place up.

I wanted to write a review bc I want to warn others that this controller is not dependable for heating reptile/bird rooms.I heat my entire reptile room vs individual enclosures. The set temperatures was 79F to come on & 84F to turn off.The first couple of months it worked fine and then one morning it failed to shut off at 84F and my room temperature was nearly 98F and the heater was still running. The second incident happened about a month later and this time it failed to turn the heater on at 79F and my room was 56F.After that incident, when I plug different heaters into it, the heaters will not even turn on.My reptiles survived both incidents but I could have not been so fortunate. This was my experience with this product.

works great to activate a circulation fan in loft, once you figured out how to set temp

Our prior thermostat (with more cords and blue on the face) burned up. It literally melted and we lost a lot of plants so change of manufacturers and models was important. It's cold and snowy so we don't check the greenhouse daily. The old one lasted several years but that's the worst possible way to fail. So far so good with this one. Plus I like having control over high and low and seeing current temp as well.

Accurate temperature control. Better than the other popular brand which cannot maintain accurate temperature within 1 month. This one looks better and temperature very accurate !
