Notes:
- Do not attach a device that exceed the unit ratings.
- Make sure the timer is placed far from artificial lights to avoid interference. The timer is daily repeat after setting, in case of power failure it will stop operating. Once power is restored, reset the desired operating mode as the operating instructions.
- In order to avoid water getting into the outlets, the timer should be mounted in a vertical position with the outlets facing downward and at least 2ft above ground level.

It's fine product and good quality but one big flaw in the design is it loses it's settings if you lose power and comes back on in it's default mode which is "off". What that means is that if you set it for "Dusk to Dawn" operation and your power goes out for even a second, that setting will be wiped and you'll have to go out and reset it to that mode.This is a pain for me since I bought these to plug into some soffit outlets to control halloween / christmas lights. I've had to go out a couple times and get on a later to reset them after my powered went out briefly which is sort of a pain in the butt and defeats the convenience of a photocell device in the first place.I'm not looking at ones where the settings are achieved with a mechanical dial instead since they won't lose their settings in a power outage. Other than that, it still works as promised and if power outtage isn't a concern, then you will be happy.

Got the two timers to use with holiday lights and out of the box, only one worked. No way to contact the seller to get a replacement, so back it goes. 50% reliability is nothing to brag about and we're left to deal with the inconvenience of a return. Recommend to try the next supplier in line.

These are amazing. I bought the 2 pack of timers. They go on at dusk and off at dawn or you can have them comeon automatically and choose from 1 to 9 hours before they shut off. Great item!
