You can adjust the zero, so the accuracy is quite accurate and repeatable. Obviously not at the level for serious metalworking, but PERFECT for 3D printing and getting initial measurements for 3D modeling software.

I keep this in the garage to use on my ebike and car.The accuracy is fine for identifying what fastener or tool to use, and anything else I need to measure in the garage.It takes a couple seconds to confirm the reading, but not having to worry about a dead battery in my digital calipers makes this worth having. I still use the digital set for when I need the better accuracy.

Ordered the first set, they opened once, closed them and they stayed stuck closed. Did a replacement order and they wouldn't open past 7.5 cm. Neither one was even used to measure once, these measuring calipers are junk. Both sets felt super gritty for the 2 minutes I had each like they machined them very rough and didn't bother to clean anything before assembly

I don't know how accurate the gauge is, but it works for what I needed. I found converting from imperial to metric tiresome for the number of measurements I needed to take. This allowed me to take quick readings that were fit for my purpose.

I guess I am spoiled having a set of Helios calipers that I bought in 1974. These calipers are not smooth, not straight and the jaws do not align. To me they are not worth having.

Very bad accuracy, the rod was almost coming out of it's track. Doesn't return to zero. More like a toy.

Ein Qualitativ sehr gutes Messwerkzeug! Es macht das was es soll, sehr Präzise, die Skala muss nicht jedes mal neu eingestellt werden, brauch keine Batterie. Wie jedes mechanische Werkzeug sollte die Zahnleiste mit einem Fett leicht eingeschmiert werden. Ich verwende da ein - aus dem Uhrmacher Bereich - Litiumfett Spezifikation - 40 bis + 120 * C kurzfristig bis +140*C. Bitte nicht mit irgendeinem Fett behandeln, da die Nullung nicht funktioniert. Das Fett muss immer die gleiche Viskosität haben, bei jeder Temperatur, nur so ist die Funktionalität Gewährleistet. Da ich da schlechte Rezensionen gelesen habe, musste ich das so ausführlich schreiben um erklären. Man sollte sich ein bisschen mit der Mechanik auseinandersetzen bevor man irgendwas schreibt. Bon produit robuste et de bonne facture.Qualité bien supérieur à d'autres pieds à coulisse de même type et de grandes marque qui ont cassé très rapidement.Celui-ci semble trenir le choc du travail sur chantier....

Precise and easy to use. Clear to read with a good sized dial. A good buy.I have used a plastic one for over twenty years and it recently broke. This stainless steel finish is a pleasure to use and is still lightweight.(Note: There is no battery as it is not electric.)
