It’s not a Starrett but, it’s a good, functional, accurate shop tool. It’s not as refined in its machining/finish as a Starrett but, at 1/6th the cost of a comparable Starrett, it is a very good value. the tolerance is accurate to the 1/100 (i’ve not needed anything greater). For a daily shop user it stands up well.

You can't compare these against some bigger name tools, but for the price point they seem to be working just fine and hold a very close return to zero. There is a little slop in the dial when you lock it in place you have to hold it to keep it zero its not a big issue, it slides a little tight but again its not a serious issue seeing's how the price point on these is sub 25 at time of this review. If you need a set of Calipers for minor measurement use with a fair +/- tolerance of a thou, these are ok to use IMO

Product came without a manual. Called Amazon about it and was told they'll replace it with the assurance it'll come with a manual. The replacement came WITHOUT A MANUAL. However, I checked this caliper with my old caliper that's made in the US and with a couple of digital calipers, and this product works with good accuracy. The only reason I'm giving it an overall 4 stars is because of the missing manual. So, I'm keeping this product as a back-up.
