Precautions
- Don't wear gloves
- Don't detect metal
- Best to measure in no wind conditions
- The operating temperature is within the range of 10-35 degrees Celsius, and the humidity is below 80%
Operation Technique
- Both hands must be used
- Your right hand must keep touching the metal panel on the back of the tester.
- Your left hand must hold the diamond or place the diamond on the bracket with your left hand pressing against the bracket.
Precautions
- When testing diamond, it will emits beeping-beeping-beeping in a low frequency, 1 time/second.
- When Testing metal, it will emits beeping-beeping-beeping in a high frequency,5times/second.
Use Procedure
Install Battery
- Put the 9V battery in.(incloud)
- After use, turn off the power.
Table Initial Value
- Turn on the switch.
- Wait few seconds for the probe to heat up until Lamp on ready OK
Set Initial Value
- Turn on the lights numbers corresponding to the indoor temperature and diamond weight.
- If don't know. Set 4 lights is lighting up on the scale.
Vertical Contact
- Use probe to make 90-degree contact with the measured object.
- It needs little force to stop it on the diamond surface and make full contact

This is a basic diamond tester but it does work. This is not an expensive one meaning it can be fooled by Moissanite but it does the job if you’re just trying to do simple things. Again Moissanite will pass as a diamond with this basic tester.

I ordered this diamond tester to make sure that my engagement ring was a real diamond. The accuracy was great, and I was able to confirm the composition of my ring! I would highly recommend especially if anyone is curious to know if your diamond is real!

This is a no buy product, it simply doesn't work. I actually tested it before making a purchase and afterwards found it the reading wasn't accurate. It may be inexpensive but it has to work, otherwise there is no value.

The beeper to tell you if it's a true diamond does not work.So I'm not sure if I have a real diamond.

Would not use this as a main factor in judging diamonds or gems. Although it should be apart of the process since extra clarity on your items is always a good thing. Does work in telling you if its a diamond or not but it also works on Moissanite and even iPhone camera lenses which was not expecting. Tested it on cheap knock off rings and glass and it for sure tells you they are not diamonds. Good item to add to the many step process of telling if your items are genuine but again do not use this as a main factor or decider.

I recently purchased the Diamond Tester with high hopes of accurately discerning genuine diamonds from imitations. Unfortunately, my experience with this product left much to be desired. Despite diligently following the convoluted instructions provided and even testing it on a known authentic diamond, the results were consistently inaccurate.The user manual, regrettably, was not user-friendly, making it challenging to navigate through the testing process. Even with careful attention to detail, I couldn't achieve reliable outcomes.Moreover, when testing on a real diamond, the tester failed to provide consistent or accurate readings, casting doubt on its effectiveness. This lack of reliability is especially concerning for those relying on such a device for authenticating precious gems.Ultimately, I had to return the Diamond Tester due to its failure to perform as advertised. While the concept behind the product is promising, its execution leaves much to be desired. I would caution potential buyers to explore alternative options before investing in this particular model.

I had been hesitant to try one of these but after watching a video I decided to try one. I no longer buy diamond jewelry from big box jewelry stores, it is way over priced and I've learnt that resale value is not great. You can find antique and pre-loved jewelry for a fraction of the price. You have to be careful when buying and this tester if a great investment. I tried it on some of my old diamond and non diamond jewelry that I know was real or not real and it was 100% accurate.
