Very useful for auto DIY repair as well as hobbyists doing woodworking. It is, however, flimsy and I expect that if you drop it your heart will race wondering if it's going in the trash right afterwards. For something designed to be used in a garage or woodworking shop, it should really not be this flimsy.

This is very handy when trying to make changes to the race cars camber. The digital read out makes it so that I can ensure that both sides are at the same spot and cuts out a lot of the guessing. Very easy to use.

It requires a battery, which is a pain. I'd add a star if it had a rechargeable battery. The level gauge is accurate when measured against my other gauges. I terms of use the only trick is paying attention to the arrows because it doesn't show (+) or (_) angles - only an arrow indicating to "which side" of zero you are on. This unit is compact enough to be handy for a variety of functions, but setting alignment doesn't really work for most cars because you want the car sitting on its wheels and there is usually no flat magnetic plane on a car wheel for this to attach. So if you're looking to use this as a magic alignment tool you might be disappointed.

I've had one of this thing, but with just a graded bubble scale, for more than 25 years. When I saw this one, I decided it was time to upgrade. This camber alignment tool works great. It is powered by two AAA batteries, not included. Magnet is very strong and securely sticks to any magnetic metal surface. It's very easy to operate and is more accurate than my old one by a lot. I use this type of alignment tool to keep the camber angle the same it was prior to a front end job. If I want a perfect alignment, the vehicle must go to a shop, but to keep things the way they were, this is the right tool. If I'm changing struts, ball joints, knuckles asm, etc I just zero in the actual camber angle and after performing the required job, I just make adjustments to get the zero mark again. I highly recommend this tool for any Saturday morning mechanic, a it will save you some money on the long end.

What a compact, yet accurate little tool to check the angle of camber on a vehicle. This can be used on front or rear wheels as needed.Fairly straight forward to use, it deserves all 5 stars, and zero complaints from me.
