In recent years I've been adding higher end cookware to my kitchen tools. When using stainless steel, enameled case iron, and carbon steel pans, the temperature of the pan really makes a difference in how much or how little food will stick. I had really only been guessing at the temperature and my results would vary on how well I was guessing on any particular day. Adding this simple, inexpensive tool has taken the guess work out of cooking and I'm reaching for those better pans more often.

Thermometer works well. Only issue is the first time you use it after not being used for a while there is a delay before the temp is displayed. The old Thermometer it's replacing did not have the delay.
