Cable seems of decent quality but for me it did not click into my Sony Tv and Sound Bar I had to tape it to keep it in place. I should have returned it but we had company over, so I had to use it.

Works as expected. I like the braided cord for some reason in my mind it makes the cable more sturdy although its an optical cable and wont be getting a lot of action and play. It was easy to plug in and fit, works with no issues so far.
