This digital to analog converter convert digital PCM audio signal Coaxial or Toslink to L/R RCA Analog (can NOT reverse).
Works with any player with optical (TOSLINK) or coaxial digital audio output, such as digital and HDTVs, satellite receivers, CD/DVD/Blu-ray players and game consoles, ideal for home or professional audio switching (this DAC adapter only supports 2.1 channels, not 5.1 channels and DTS)

Step:
- Device homepage --> System setting --> Image and sound --> Voice setting --> Digital audio output --> PCM/LPCM.
- If Samsung TV / LG TV, please also turn on the external speakers.
- If Panasonic TV, please set TV audio output to SPDIF output.
PLEASE NOTE!!! This product is an digital to analog converter, please confirm the purchase. You need to set up the TV when you use it, otherwise it won't work!!!!
PCM/LPCM
The fiber optic cable we included comes with a plastic protective sleeve, please remove it before use. Also, if the cable still cannot be inserted, please rotate 90°
If you encounter a situation where the fiber cannot be inserted, please check if the plastic protective sleeve is removed first.

*NOTE* Make sure to follow instructions about the proper settings on your Smart TV.I used this converter to connect the optical output of our Smart TV to the 3.5mm AUX jack on our old Cambridge Soundworks table top radio. The radio is over well 20 years old but it's sound is amazing.The instructions are very clear about setting the TV's output to 'optical' and 'PCM', and that's it. Took me maybe 10 minutes to unpack, connect, and change settings.So now the sound quality of our TV is just as incredible as every other quality source played through the radio. It's like the Bose wave except this one has it's own built-in sub woofer. Photo showing radio as the output device.This converter does everything as described and all the bits feel very solid and well made. My wife and I are very pleased!

My TV does not have analog outputs, so a device such as this is necessary to connect the TV to my stereo, which is of 1970s vintage.I have a cable box, DVD player, & Raspberry Pi connected to the TV. The output for the latter 2 is excellent. However, I get digital static for cable TV. I suspect that this is the issue of the cable box, since the other 2 devices have flawless audio.1 star demerit because this converter is advertised with a 192 kHz sampling rate, whereas the included documentation specified 96 kHz. Still, good solid equipment for the price, but wish that I had known the accurate sampling rate beforehand.

This Dto A converter is so cool. I took an RCA Coaxial output from a TV through this Digital analog converter into the 3.5mm input of a soundbar. Works great.

I purchases this converter to hook up a new digital tv output to an analog stereo input. I have had is a while till I wall mounted my tv. Finally got everything mounted only to discover the converter doesn't work. Just get a buzzing noise through my speakers with no sound from the audio of the television. Must be a defective converter as I have eliminated everything else. Comes with one year warranty. Let's see if they honor it.

I didn’t think I’d find one of these. It works great. Take some getting used to the Bluetooth pairing but once one get it, it’s simple.

Seems to be working just fine but does introduce a slight audio delay. Most noticeable when using my TV speakers with my external sound bar. Clear audio delay which sounds like an echo.

Considering the apparent quality and hopefully durable pieces included in package, price was unexpectedly inexpensive. Plugged in the wiring and digital output ends and was then able to use smart TV output to connect with my older awesome stereo receiver (now get the TV audio through choice of 3 sets of speakers).
