Works as expected, no problems installing and swapping out old splitter. We have the older DirecTV recievers and recorders and it delivers HD quality to all attached. Can't really go wrong with this if you need a splitter.

The splitter I received had a label similar to what is pictured, but also had the Directv logo. Figuring anyone could slap a logo on something, I took it with a grain of salt. When I went outside to replace my existing Directv 2 port splitter, I found it was exactly the same brand and label as the one provided by the Directv installer! It worked perfectly right away. No issues whatsoever.Note for install: Leave the black rubber things on the ports. They are what helps keep it weather tight. The F connector on the coax will go on under it. Also, if you don't use all 4 ports, leave the little things that look like caps on the unused ports. They are actually load resistors needed to keep from lowering your signal level.

I bought this to split the signal from a SWM satellite. It did exactly what it was supposed to, and was nicely labeled so you know which input to use for the in-line power supply needed for my SWM.One disappointment was the lack of terminators that are displayed clearly in the photo. I expected three terminators, as one might expect a minimum of two connections to this splitter, but none were included. During my research I was informed to always terminate my connections to avoid signal degradation. So I had to make a special trip to get them at the local hardware store to get up and running.Other than that, this thing works great, and I have a couple of extra ports to use in the future if need be. Great price!!

This works great, but there are a couple key points to mention if you plan to move the main receiver to a different cable port in your home.First, the cable(outside your home) connected to the port(inside your home) where the main receiver will be HAS to be plugged into Port 1 of this splitter.Second, this(the main) receiver will need to have a working signal before any other secondary receiver can also receive that signal.

Works as designed, if you know how to wire it. A standard (generic) splitter won't work with a DirecTV satellite signal but this will do the job if you know how to use it. What I didn't know when it arrived is that the first port, (the one with the "Power Pass" notation) has to be hooked up to a working DirecTV decoder box for the other three ports to work. I originally split the signal to three different rooms, but didn't actually have a box hooked up at the end of the line of the first port. No signal could be found at the other two ports..... when I added the box at the end of line for the "Power Pass" port, VOILA, everything worked.

I have the DirectTV DECA ethernet to coax adaptor Gen 2. They are bi-directional so coax to ethernet is the same device. They don't even need to be used in pairs. You can split them on the coax side using this splitter. I use 3 of the outputs and close the other. I have ethernet in most of the house to counter the jammers from my neighbors. I'm sure some have boosters for the 2GHz. And the 5Hz is weird because of the adaptive channel scanning of all the routers.I cut the cord long ago so it's pure Internet use. If you still have cable TV you need filters.

Got this splitter for my outdoor tv antenna.I'm very surprised the build quality of this product is one of the best I've seen and the extra terminators included with the splitter are a bonus. No more pixelated picture and enjoying watching my local TV stations.
