This is a well made dive flag mounting kit with an important caveat. There are 2 fiberglass rods that attach the flag to the base by slipping into a sleeve on the flag. The seller (Spearfishing World) will not separately sell you these rods if you need a replacement, I contacted them by phone today, 19 July 2024 & was informed that the entire kit would have to be reordered. The flag assembly is useless w/o the rods mandating a search for a replacement rod.7/21/2024 I am upping the review to 4 stars. Even though you cannot purchase an extra fiberglass rod from Spearfishing World a trip to one of the larger hardware stores & the purchase of a correctly sized wooden dowel which matched the diameter of the original fiberglass rod solved the problem.

Set it up on a torpedo float with a 2 pound keel weight. Rides perfectly in the water.I attach it to a wreck reel that is attached to my hip D-ring on my waist strap.

It actually came in wonderful condition, and is very durable in the water! The mount connects to my float just fine and the flag cane really take on some wind and waves

Love how it’s sturdy and give you option. Both for travel and for assembly. Love to spear fish and dive. Works for both applications

On the first usage flag stiffening rod fell out. Product was defective.

Nice product. It had all the components to get build a new dive buoy. I was ready to hit the water in 30 minutes.

I used it for my inflatable small diving boat SEAC. Previous flag I lost. I like my new one.
