I use this to attach my fins so I can have my hands free while walking into or out of the water. Works great! No issues with rusting of the clip or any fatigue in the strap after numerous dives.

I found this equipment to be very helpful for the shore diving I love to do. I was a ble to strap my fins to my BCD with the strap which left my hands free to carry my camera and for balancing or helping other divers enter and leave the water when waves were making entrees and esits challenging.

The clip just fits into the end of my fins, there is a small loop. So, I guess the clip could be slightly smaller. For something so inexpensive, it's a MUST have for any diver. At $10, there is no reason not to have one.
