I love the feel and flow of this device as it's not as tight as the petzl or gaping as the black diamond.Did see one of these lower out faster than expected, so practice with it first to make sure you know how it lowers out. This is what happens when you tell your friend how cool it is and they aren't used to it yet. 🥲

Lowering in guide mode is smooth, but I’ve noticed that this device has considerably more friction when taking in slack in guide mode. I got absolutely worked using this thing on a 13 pitch climb. I’ll be switching back to my megajuul

Exactly what you expect. Great alternative for the Petzl Reverso or the Black Diamond ATC Guide.

In the guide mode the ring is big so that it can pass the gate of tbe carabiner in the case that one want to flip something around. I like this better the petzl’s reversal which is to be my favorite.
