BG Climbing belay glasses have a resistant and sustainable frame. Moreover, the belay glasses went through a resistance test : after 50 falls of 5'7" the prisms were still in place.
Practical case with resistant carabiner
Our Belay Glasses' case enables you to protect your glasses. You can attach your case to your harness with the carabiner. It contains a rope retainer and a glasses cloth.
Comfortable and perfect vision
The thin frame enables two fields of vision : climber/surrounding. The prisms are designed to have a perfect alignment. The BG glasses also have the perfect angle (60°) to belay your partner.

This is the second pair or inexpensive belay glasses that I’ve bought and these are great. The case is slim and doesn’t get in the way while climbing. The glasses are comfortable and seem pretty sturdy. The straps are secure. They even included two extra screws and a cleaning kit - a nice touch at this price point.

Ever since we got into climbing, these have help save my neck from looking up at the climber. These are great and the price is awesome compare to the expensive ones.

I use these all the time while lead climbing both indoors and outdoors. They are very comfortable and easy to carry around in their carrying case. They have definitely helped prevent a decent amount of neck pain I would have otherwise endured.

These are definitely a re-labeled YY Vertical Plasfun First. They're identical in every way, and the label has French on it and says "Designed in France, Made in PRC" (China). What I don't know is if "BG Climbing" is a brand that YY Vertical made for the US market, or if these are third shift/bootleg products effectively being sold by a Chinese company.Anyway, I previously had two pairs of YY Vertical Plasfun Evo, but the plastic hinges broke on both of them. The Plasfun First/BG climbing have inset metal hinges, so hopefully they're more durable. The narrower prisms do result in a noticeable smaller field of view horizontally, so they don't feel quite as natural to use, but it's not a big deal. They have the same vertical field of view.

The price / build quality of these are awesome, they’re just kinda small. With other glasses on they sit pretty low on your nose and so, as you can see, the arms aren’t really long enough to fit around your ears.Even without glasses it’s a very tight fit. They’d have to be worn uncomfortably high on my nose to reach my ears. The arms themselves are slightly shorter than my normal glasses.I’m bummed
