I've tried a NUMBER of other de-tangling and de-matting tools, but this one is so good I bought two, one for each of the rooms where we spend the most time together. Exceptionally durable, great value (will last me essentially forever), choice of two tine widths, FANTASTIC! The tine edges are rounded for comfort and my cat purrs when I use this comb, so she like it, too!

I use this on my three Persian cats and it has been very effective at getting out tangles and durable. I love that the prongs are long and sharp enough to get through their thick fur. A great value for the money and my Persians look beautiful!

I lost my dog grooming comb a month ago while on a road trip. I normally comb my Pomeranian once per week. I bought this comb based upon the ratings and reviews. OMG. In 20 minutes I had a pile of hair I couldn’t believe. My dog tolerates combing and sometimes even enjoys it getting all that attention. This comb works so much better than a standard dog grooming comb. Loose hair came out effortlessly and any minor knots that had formed since her last combing came out easily by following the instructions. I used the wide tooth side and started from the outside of her hair working in. Which is opposite what I learned watching YouTube videos from groomers in the past. It worked like a charm. Highly recommend! If you have a long hair double coated dog like I do just make sure you have a vaccumm ready nearby. I was swimming in hair !

Use this mostly on my double coated Cardigan Welsh corgi. His fur is very thick and he sheds masses of undercoat. While this works as advertised, he doesn't seem to like it very much. He prefers a rake type shedding tool. Still, this will work for mats and getting into the deeper layers of fur. Good product but dogs can be fussy.

I have a 7 month old Shih-Tzu. She’s nothing but a giant ball of energetic hair with eyes and a tongue that never stops licking. Her last visit to the groomer, they said she had lots of knots and tangles. I brush her every day, so I was confused. The groomer recommended this comb and a slicker brush. I give her a good combing through every other day, sometimes every third day, and she’s always knot free. The wide-toothed end helps get the thick undercoat nice and straight. Then I go back over her with the fine-toothed end to get all her fur silky smooth. Finally, I go over her with the slicker brush to make it nice and fluffy and shiny. Oh, and it’s fantastic at getting all those small places between her toes. All that only takes about 15 minutes. Not only is her puppy coat nice and fluffy and smooth, but she never has knots anymore to irritate the groomer and cause her discomfort. The last bit of great news about this comb is it’s very easy to hold and maneuver, and it doesn’t slip at all. I have carpal tunnel, but my hand never gets strained or goes numb. I HIGHLY recommend it to keep your fuzzy, loving, ball of fur looking and feeling great!

I purchased this comb for my Maltese puppy and this comb works very well with her silky hair. The two different-spaced tines have rounded tines and are much better on the skin, you don't have to worry about gouging your dog's skin with sharp tines. It is very comfortable to hold due to the rubberized part of the comb and appears to be very well made, not flimsy, and quite sturdy. I am very satisfied with this comb and would recommend it.

I have a puppy that mats easily and doesn't like to be brushed. My puppy is much better with this comb than the previous comb I was using and all my brushes, and I have several brushes. My puppy seems to be sensitive to all of them. The comb is great for preparing the fur for lighter brushing and styling. The comb helps me deal with the mats. The handle makes it much easier to hold, and it doesn't slip out of my hand. The teeth also comb through the fur very gently, and it seems not to bother her too much. I think it's because the teeth are not too sharp and because they are round. My last comb had round teeth, but it was as nice as this, and I think the teeth were a little sharper. I'm just glad she lets me comb through her undercoat. It is clear why this comb got such great reviews; it is definitely a great comb!! It came recommended by a groomer, and I see why she likes it so much. I suspect this will be the last comb I will ever have to buy.

We have been using this comb for 2 days. It is an absolute gamechanger. My long-haired cat not only tolerates it, but lies there and purrs while I comb him, and the comb has found matts that I didn't know existed, especially on his tail. He feels silky soft and is a very happy cat. Hopefully, this will also reduce the number of hairballs he produces. I have tried so many combs and brushes, but this one is the best. Highly recommend.

This is the first time I have had a longer haired cat. I looked for grooming tips and decided to order this comb to help. It works fantastic! She was so prone to matting...now she is great! She is timid and didn't like brushing or combing prior to getting her. She has quickly warmed up to this comb. Great quality for the money!

This is really THE BEST combing tool I tried for my pups! I have a long hair pup and a short hair one! I tried different brushes and combs for them but none really worked. Their groomer suggested I should try this comb. What a nice surprise, not only that it combs their coat very well, but none of them is afraid of being combed anymore, actually they are enjoying it! I comb their coat every day now, no tangles anymore! It is easy to handle, not slippery and safe for my pups!

Strong, sturdy and easy to hold this comb made good addition to my dogs grooming kit. The tines are well spaced for her fur. It is easy to clean both to remove the fur caught in the comb and any muddy bits collcted.
