Comfortable Inflatable Design: Soft, cozy alternative to hard plastic cones. 2. Adjustable Size: Fits a wide range of dogs, from small to large. 3. Easy to Clean: Washable fabric cover makes maintenance a breeze. 4. Lightweight: Doesn’t weigh your pet down or restrict movement. 5. Improved Mobility: Unlike hard cones, this doesn’t block vision or movement as much.Cons: 1. May Deflate: If the collar gets punctured, it may lose its inflation, reducing effectiveness. 2. This inflatable collar was purchased in 2021 and we've used it multiple times over the years between 2 different dogs. One dog is 150 lbs and the other is 120 lbs. Typically it's only been used for a few days to a couple of weeks per incident (our 150 lbs fella is unaware of his size and notorious for slamming into things & getting hurt and we learned quickly that he would use the giant plastic Elizabethan collar as a weapon to knock things over and hit people in the legs...so we only use inflatable collars now. But this collar has truly been put to the test this year because this past February our 120 lbs girl was severely injured so we have rotated between this inflatable collar and one other collar for almost 4 months straight. This collar has finally started to lose air... After 3 years and lots of use. I just ordered another one because our big girl will still be recovering for another couple of months. The fabric on this collar isn't plush, it's a slicker material that wipes off easily, hides the dirt & slobber, and washs great!! The way the Velcro loops through that buckle seems to take some slack off the Velcro itself and has helped it hold up longer. The other inflatable collar we are rotating with was just purchased in Feb of this year and the Velcro isn't staying together very well. That other collar doesn't have that metal ring to buckle it through like this blue one does. This collar is a lot larger than other collars we've tried in the past. It has to be BIG so they can't lick the injuries. Other collars just haven't compared to this one. It's a solid investment for a great price. They should sell it in the vet urgent care!!** Our dogs use it as a pillow and don't seem uncomfortable at all. They have always eagerly put their head in when we go to put it on.

When my dog was neutered he came home with a standard satellite sized cone I switched out immediately for this and it worked great however there was one little detail that would have made a huge difference. Once you put the cone over the dogs head you can tighten it up with a strap and Velcro. If that Velcro were a wide piece it would make things so much easier. If you did not get the strap lined up just right with the Velcro I found that a lot of the strap would hang down and my dog would want to grab it and pull and ended up and fastening the collar several times. I ended up making the strap shorter so he would not be able to grab it but if it had been a wider strip of Velcro that fastened down that would’ve solved the problem. My dog seemed very comfortable in this and slept easily. It was great as well it didn’t bang around on things and we didn’t have any issues at all. For the right situations I would highly recommend this in place of a cone. There would be times when it would not work for example right now my dog is recovering from having a couple of stitches in his chin so he can’t wear it because he can rub his chin on things but in most cases this would work in place of a cone and I definitely recommended. I even wish the vets office would recommend these or offer these instead of the traditional plastic cones.

I recommend cutting the velcro strap before you put on the doughnut. My genius three year old Great Pyrenees (85lbs) has gotten this thing off five times in the two weeks he’s had it on. The velcro strap is too long, so he moves the doughnut around his head until the strap is at the front of his feet, then stomps on the strap until he gets it off. We ended up cutting the strap and he still manages to get it off because it’s not short enough. That said, it looks much more comfortable than the cone provided by his vet, and his mobility is much better with the doughnut. It was definitely worth buying, but we had to keep a close eye on him.

My pyrenees LOVED wearing it even after he didn't need it anymore. It was like his own personal portable pillow! Got it to keep him from chewing on slight dermatitis and causing hot spots. It also worked well to calm him down when his rescue sister got Spayed and prevented them from trying to play. She didn't like it as much, but definitely preferred it over the regular cone. If you have a more flexible pup, they might be able to contort enough to reach the area they're not supposed to, but it worked for my 2 big dorks! The velcro was sturdy, it's nice and light, not too heavy, held air for several days, didn't burst until my MIL let my girl out with it on and she scratched it agaisnt the chain fence, but it withheld her trying to chew on it. Size was accurate. Easy to use and clean!

This dog cone works well and the fabric is easy to clean. I ordered the medium because I already have one in grey and wanted a back-up. The colour is actually red, not rose as pictured and described in the ad. I tested it out and it may be losing a tiny bit of air. It is not enough to be concerned about.

The inner tube is too small for the outer skin, even when fully inflated
