The ones I got work great and are very dependable and very tough.

We didn't really get a chance to see whether or not this device worked. I set it up, put it on my dog's collar, put him in his crate while I took a shower, he chewed it up while I was in the shower. I was on my way out the door to take him to the vet when I found the piece that was the circuit board and the battery. The rest was very flimsy plastic. I didn't think it was hanging low enough for him to chew it, but clearly I was wrong, plus he's a Bernedoodle and he always finds a way....

I want to be able to locate my dog should she manage to escape my house or yard. She is microchipped and that comes in handy if she is captured by animal control. Should she escape, I wanted a way to locate her myself. I ordered this Dog Tracker for that purpose. Once I downloaded/installed the findmyTag app from the Apple App Store, I pulled the battery insulation strip from the Tracker and opened the app on my iPhone. (There are instructions in the manual and a different download for Android phones). The Tracker immediately paired with my iPhone, and I entered some basic information. I attached the Tracker to my dog's collar. To see where my dog is on a map, I open the app and click on the globe in the upper right-hand corner of the app. The map is displayed that shows where she is. Additionally, they include a collar to which you can attach the tracker. There is an additional battery (CR2032) included as well. This is not a GPS tracker and is dependent on there being Apple devices nearby. All communication on the network is anonymous and encrypted to protect privacy.

Not durable. The parts that you would expect to be metal are actually plastic. I couldn't expect this tag to stay on my dog to keep him safe. It did come with the battery and a decent collar though. It feels more like a toy then a dog tag.

I recently tried the SFTFD Dog Tracker – AirTag Dog Collar & Android GPS Tracker, and while it has some useful features, it also has a few limitations that potential buyers should consider.Pros:✅ Lightweight & Comfortable: The collar is well-designed, lightweight, and doesn’t seem to bother my dog. It fits securely without being too tight or bulky.✅ AirTag Compatibility (for iPhone users): If you use an Apple AirTag, this collar is a convenient way to keep track of your pet. The built-in holder keeps the AirTag secure and protected.✅ Decent Build Quality: The materials feel durable and water-resistant, making it suitable for everyday use, even in outdoor conditions.Cons:âš ï¸ Not a True GPS Tracker for Android Users: The product claims to be an "Android GPS Tracker," but AirTags are designed to work best with Apple’s Find My network. If you’re an Android user, the tracking functionality is very limited unless you use a third-party workaround.âš ï¸ No Real-Time GPS Tracking: Unlike dedicated GPS dog trackers, this doesn’t provide live location tracking. Instead, it relies on Apple’s AirTag system, which updates location only when in range of an iPhone. This means it’s not ideal for tracking a lost dog in real time.âš ï¸ AirTag Sold Separately: The collar does not include an AirTag, so you’ll need to purchase one separately, adding to the cost.Final Verdict:The SFTFD Dog Tracker Collar is a good option for iPhone users who want a simple way to keep an AirTag on their dog, but it falls short as a true GPS tracker, especially for Android users. If you need real-time GPS tracking, you’d be better off with a dedicated pet GPS tracker.Would I recommend it? Only if you’re an iPhone user looking for a basic tracking solution. Otherwise, consider alternatives with built-in GPS.

Do not waste time or money on this. Had it less than a week and broken and destroyed. Our dog is a chill dog, that stays inside and only really goes out to potty and walks around the block. Under a week I noticed he was missing the other half. Returning and will look for a better build item. The app. Also isn't the best. Doesn't let you change the icon and doesn't track like i was expecting.

This helps me keep track of my tiny dog. I can't put a regular tracking collar on her. She's too small. This tag is pretty good for helping to locate her. It isn't as powerful as a GPS tracking collar, but I didn't expect it to be. It does help for dogs that don't wander far or if the dog was wandering in a more populated area where a lot of people have phones to help locate the dog. This tag has the advantage of not relying on a cell signal like my other dog's GPS collars that sometimes don't show where she is because there is no cell signal for her GPS collar to communicate with my phone to show her location. This tag won't run out of batteries in one week like a GPS collar that uses a lot of battery life. Ideally, I think a dog should have this tag as a backup for a GPS collar. This has good battery life so far. It's easy to use. It looks cute. It's comfortable for my 4 pound dog. I put the tag on her harness and not on her collar. For the price and for my realistic expectations of what this tag does, it's a good value.
