I bought this cover to protect an expensive giant Frisco bolster dog bed used by my 120 pound American Bulldog. After washing the actual dog bed cover I inserted the dog bed in the new Dogbed4less cover so that I can slip it off the bed and wash it whenever needed. The original cover has held up well, but I am not at all anxious to replace it. The cover I received is very soft and sturdy and has a soft silky lining that makes filling it easy. It seems to be a very nice quality with a good heavy long zipper. I am sure it would be great for making a DIY dog bed with whatever you wanted for the mattress. This size is VERY large. I could actually sleep in the dog bed myself. Haven't washed it and dried it yet, but I have a canvas dog bed cover of this brand and it has been indestructible for years so I'm not worried. My big girl hopped right in it and tried it out so two thumbs and a paw up!

My puppy dog is pretty tough on things, this one is being used for his inside bed in his Kennel. He is 50lbs and sheds a lot and is in his kennel all night. He will paw and scratch at it like dogs like to so they can move their bed around and it holds up. Not to mention he's like a Velociraptor since you have better luck corralling a wild heard of rhinos then cutting his claws.We've had this now for almost 2 years with no flaws to date, its filled to the brim (had to work to get the sipper shut) with cedar chips and a top layer of polyfill (pillow stuffing) for comfort and warmth. I clean by running the floor vacuum with the brushes on once a week. It holds up like new...so yea, you want something durable for your pup while being a little softer for indoor use. This sucker is it; it works and holds up well. Too bad they don't make re-covers for couch cushions...

This cover is very durable and fits over the dog bed that my dog was chewing. For some reason she is not interested in chewing this at all? Very easy to take on and off for washing and thick material.

These bed covers are incredible. Great fabric, machine washable, sturdy zipper. Well, my dog takes that as a challenge unfortunately and likes to chew zippers. She's been through 2 so far. But I will always come back to buy this because it lives up to her other tendencies (like being covered in dirt, wet from the rain, or digging her way to China/making her spot just right for comfort) like a champ. Love the color, which is true to description. Great product, hands down.

Covers are true to size. My dogs like super floppy mattresses so when I buy true to size covers, the mattresses bunches up a bit. A size bigger allows the mattress to “flop†spread out. Easy to wash, durable.

One cover the zipper fell apart see pic, this was less than 2 hours old when this happened. The older brown covers I had no issue with.
