Was a little deformed upon arrival but I snapped it around the awning and it took the shape just fine and the awning clicks in. There is double sided tape to help keep it in place which I would have never known by looking at the old one.

So the part that came is not correct. Probably my bad for not crossing the part number vs the photo. What came is exactly as everyone is saying, squared and not round. It snaps in place with force but awning arms will not close together when awning is being closed. Surprised they haven't updated this ad with the correct photo as clearly its still a problem. Back to using zip ties!!

I bought these to replace the original latches that had broken. Other than having to use a heat gun to form it around the shape of the awning frame, it was a perfect fit.
