We are so pleased with our PLUGSHARGE letter drop box. It was priced well, delivered quickly, carefully packaged, and a breeze to install. Our tenants are delighted to have this convenient and secure way to pay their rent.We bought another letter drop box and returned it as it did not compare well with the PLUGSHARGE. We made a mistake, though, and sent it to PLUGSHARGE who then refunded our money. Once this mistake was discovered, PLUGSHARGE was creative and accommodating in correcting the error for us. Extraordinary customer service! My only regret is that we don’t need more letter drop boxes. I would buy only from PLUGSHARGE.

We needed a way to make our incoming mail more secure, as we have always had an outdoor mailbox attached to the building exterior. Searching what we could find online we seen the "door drop box" from Plugsharge products.Seeing that this would be the instant cure for our needs we ordered it from Amazon. But, there was a problem, my fault, when we received it we discovered it was the wrong type. I contacted their customer service admitting to it being my fault in not making sure it was exactly what we needed. Their response was amazing, their answer could have been "too bad, that is what you ordered", but instead they talked over our needs with me and immediately shipped the one we needed to us!Excellent product with the best in customer service!

Great box! Very happy, easy to install. We installed in an outside door. The only negative is that when someone shuts the door the slot opens up and stays open. We installed a wire on the inside of the slot with a weight at the bottom of the wire so it stays shut - we don't need rain getting into the box

Received item in a timely manner and install with relative ease. Only suggestion would be to add a spring of some sort to retract the door closed because it wants to stay open.

This product when received looks well made and heavy duty. It possibly could have worked, but we returned not sure as to how a 15lb. metal box would wear on our exterior fiberglass door. It's quite heavy. Didn't want to take chances and no need for something that secure and heavy duty on the inside in our particular case.

The box is well made with 1.2 mm steel and then they put a poor quality lock…doesn’t make sense! Also there are no anchors provided for installation in hollow core doors. Before I install it will be making a trip to the hardware store and locksmith to get what I need to make it secure. Thought about sending it back, but I really just want to install it without delay. I don’t recommend this box if you really want it secured.

This drop box is very well made. If properly installed then it could be used for mail, too.The overall construction is a heavy gauge steel with a thick hammered finish looking powder coat. The gray color is very light, almost off white. I can't think of any good reason to discount the gray $25 over the black one. You could repaint it with the hammered Rustoleum for half or less than the difference and get the same look. The opening has a heavy back and forth motion. Neither direction is done without applying steady force - that's good for a dropbox. If it flapped in the wind I would be concerned. The keys are a special style. They remind me of the old laser cut car keys. Nowadays it's probably CNC cut. Either way, it's not something that can be duplicated at the machine in the grocery store or HD/Lowes. In addition to the key, the door has a friction plate that provides tension to keep the door from opening or closing all the way without intention. All the screws/hardware that come with it are self tapping, so no drill bits needed for the intended installations.Sizing it to a door is almost automatic when you do the install. Cut the hole, feed it in, screw the main body to the door then the trim to the door. Done. A skilled worker could have this completed in 30 minutes or so. An amateur may need an hour or two.I see this as a good rent/key drop for a business. I believe the postal service also allows any box for door drops. .
