The product itself is an exact replacement for what has failed on my window motor, the delivery was very prompt, and the price is the best I've found for the product. I was home when the product was delivered, and the driver never knocked on the door, or announced that he was here. i just happened to see him as he was returning to his vehicle, and went to the door to find that he had just placed, I hope not tossed, my package on the very edge of my entry porch. he just got into his vehicle and drove off, not even acknowledging me at all, as he was having a spirited conversation on his cell phone to someone. very poor standards of delivery person, but product is great.

For the record, I took a chance and purchased this for my 1995 Explorer even though it didn’t show compatible. It worked great and save me from having to buy a new window motor. It does take a little bit of work to get the gear into the motor, but it works! I found complete motors online for reasonable prices, but my motor was working great. Glad this option was available. I highly recommend!

You use these to repair the motor on your Ford electric windows. It's FAR easier to remove the motor assembly and replace the gear than the entire regulator assembly. You can repair both motor assemblies in about 2 hours. I cleaned out my old gearbox assemblies and tried to install the new gear, I could not squeeze the three "pucks" into the gear with the metal drive unit. The fit was just too tight. I could either file down the pucks or reuse the stock drive gear. I decided to just reuse the drive gear since only the old pucks were destroyed. It's still a good deal since I was able to repair both windows for around $30, but I only ended up using the pucks out of this kit. If your drive gear is bad, you would need to file the pucks down to install them and that would be a pain.

I bought the kit with nylon gear and drive 3plugs and the drive plugs are too large for the supplied drive gear .After a while trying to get the unit together I gave up and used the original ford OEM drive gear with the new drive plugs and then it fit well and I was OK

These parts were larger than the parts they were to replace and did not fit in the window motor housing o0n my 1992 F-150 XLT standard cab pickup. Returned.

This is a perfect fit for front door power window motors on a 1991 Explorer. In my case I only needed the 3 dowels as my gears were still good, but you won't know until you open it up. The original dowels had turned to crumbs preventing operation of the window. There are youtube videos with info to do the job. The dowels are a tight fit and take some patience to install. When removing the window regulators, don't drill the steel centre of the rivets out like the manuals say. Punch them out, then drill the aluminum out. Before unbolting the motor from the regulator, make sure to clamp vice-grips to prevent the spring from rotating the 2 parts of the regulator and taking off a finger.
