I don't know about the other cars this is supposed to be used with but a VW beetle it's less than grand. So little room even with disconnecting the steering shaft. there is a better and cheaper method. get the booster loose and take the brake pedal bolt out just break out the plastic part this tool is designed to release. For $8.66 you can get a new one right here. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C58GSHR3?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title. Takes a couple minutes and you are done. Sorry I do hate giving negative reviews, but I already had the replacement part just in case. Just could not get the old one to release. Maybe it's great on other German vehicles.
