With slow and fast pressure release options, you can easily prevent over foaming- this is the reason you are able to carbonate more than just water in the Drinkmate. When adding CO2 to drinks that contain tannins and/or sugars, this creates a lot of foam. I bought these as a backup to the original Fizz Infuser which came with the Drinkmaker, so that if the original one goes kaput, I can keep right on fizzing away. So far the original has worked wonderfully, so I assume these two "spares" will work just as great. If they turn out to be faulty one day, I shall come back and upgrade this review accordingly. For now, I am 100% satisfied with my Drinkmate products.

Not much to say except that you gotta keep buying these because eventually you can't clean them, not even with those effervescent tablets for cleaning bottles.

Works Great. Fun color.It took me a long time to buy a second infuser. For a simple device it's priced for a high margin i feel. I'm happy to have it, but bought it reluctantly.

I ordered the Omnifizz w/ 4 CO2 canisters, 2 extra 1L Bottles, and 2 extra infusers. The infusers came from 2 different places and at separate times. This particular one arrived without the fitted box for storage purposes that the other one came in and the plastic wrap around this one, unlike the other, had been opened and retaped up. This one is not new and a returned or refurbished infuser. It did arrive 4 days earlier than expected so I gave it an extra star.OK. This is an update. The seller responded and is going to fix the issue. They stand by their products! The issue was actually with the carrier as they damaged the boxes and reboxed not doing a good job. I really like the Drinkmate and with the extra accessory will not be without its use when and if the original infuser wears out. The Drinkmate seems to have cleared up a mucus problem I had in just 3 days. I had to clear my throat a lot and contributed it to being 73. I don't have to clear anymore. I am convinced this is the best product of its' kind for home use out there and rest assured they stand by their products!

I own a Ninja Thirsty, Sodastream and the Drinkmate. I like all three. The Sodastream and Drinkmate work basically the same way. The difference being, the Sodastream only carbonates water. The Drinkmate carbonates almost any liquid. The Ninja Thirsty has flavors that automatically mixes with your water when carbonating. Out of the 3, I use the Drinkmate far more than the other 2. As far as construction goes, the Drinkmate is made from cheap plastic like the Sodastream. The Ninja Thirsty is made of plastic also but seems stronger.

As a former SodaStream user (my machine stopped working) I hesitated trying a new company. I've used the other brand since they started the company. However, the Drink Mate makes carbonated drinks much more easily for me, more fizzy products and VERY easy to re-fizz drinks that have gone flat and lost their fizz. That, alone, is worth it! It takes just a minute to learn how to use it, and I am thrilled with my purchase! I haven't had to re-charge the co2 cannisters yet, so I'm not sure how easy that will be - but if it's as easy as carbonating fluids, I'm in heaven!

My original one failed - so I needed this. It works good. I would suggest that you get 2 - so when/if it fails - you can keep going.

I like the design and colour. It enables to degass the carbonated liquid until the level when you can open de bottle. In fact this is the only difference compared with Sodastream and this is why you can use liquids different then water
