This is a good quality stand that come with a stick bag that you can easily attach to the stand to hold your drumsticks. The stand raises up to a good hieght which is good if you like to stand while using the practice pad and you ccan adjust the pad to lay flat or angled to whatever your comfortable with. The pad itself is a good quality practice pad it's got good response and that makes practicing a lot easier , in my opinion. It's quiet so your not disturbing anyone and its very portable it folds down nicely and easy to take it on the go.It's a good quality stand pretty good quality pad itself that's quiet has good response and it comes with a pair of sticks for beginners and is a great value in my opinion for what you're getting. I would recommend it especially for really anyone whether you're a beginner or you've been playing your whole life it's a good practice pad.

Collectively for the money this practice pad pack can’t be beat for an all in one purchase. None of the individual pieces are overly impressive but good enough for beginners/students or parents that don’t want to invest a lot of money to see if their child will stick with drumming. The pad itself appears to be an unfinished MDF pressed wood type material with a rubber surface glued to it. Stick rebound is good with moderately silent sound levels. The included pair of sticks are also an unfinished wood but work fine for practice. The stick holder is very well made and easy to attach and detach from the stand when needed. The stand itself is just okay an I would have preferred an actual basket style snare stand be included instead. The pad is easy enough to thread onto the stand but the plastic adjustment joints just don’t tighten adequately enough for my preference. Also the stand is much bigger than a traditional snare stand and not as easy to breakdown and pack away. It does have a nice height range for those wanting to practice standing up. The angle adjustment of the pad is very simple design but works.

Don't be fooled; you will be striking a solid surface repeatedly with a piece of wood, and you are going to make noise. Not only will there be the sounds of the sticks striking the rubber pad, there's also the sound and vibration traveling through the whole thing, tripod and all. Believe me, if there are people on the floor below you, they will hear you practicing. There is no such thing as silent percussion, I'm sorry. Even electric kits have some noise when you play them. That's kind of the nature of percussion - striking things to make music/noise/sounds. So don't be fooled. That being said, I'm pretty pleased. The tripod is a little flimsy, and screwing the pad onto it seems like a bad idea that will cut the life of this in half. The rubber pad is solid, the sticks are typical 5A and feel good, but the biggest surprise is the stick bag. It's actually good quality, and I'll probably use it to replace the one I have on my actual kit. This practice pad is going to become my new obsession, so I really do hope it lasts a while...

It's not the best practice pad in the world, but it doesn't need to be when you're just starting out. The stand collapses pretty well, and even still stands up while collapsed. The stick holder is actually pretty good quality. The sticks are average. If you're wanting to get started drumming, this has much of what you need to learn rudiments.

My son already plays guitar and piano. He wanted to try drumming but without the expense (and noise!) of a real drum until he knows how interested he'll be. He really likes this drum pad set. It's solid, quiet, gives realistic feedback, and doesn't take up much space. It is a perfect learning device. The stand is metal with a sturdy tripod base that keeps the unit from sliding around. The height is easily adjustable. The wood pad base is a nice thick slab that absorbs the sound very well. The drumming surface pad itself gives a nice bounce back feeling simulating what you'd get on a real drum head. At about 12" across, it's plenty big for practicing a variety of techniques. The provided drumsticks are kind of basic, but I guess that's good for a beginner. The stick storage bag is big enough to hold several more pairs of sticks, so he can add better sticks as he progresses.

This is a great beginner set up. Comes with everything you need to start learning those rudiments on the the drums.Individually, none of these parts are great, I have a better pad, better sticks and a better stand but individually each (except for the sticks) were more expensive than this entire set. If you have a child starting in band or orchestra, this is a great place to start at a low cost.I prefer the stands that have arms that hold the pad in place, whereas this one has a screw hole in the back of the pad that screws into the stand. I have some doubts how well this is going to hold up over time, but so far, I was able to get it all set up, adjust to a good height and bang out some para-diddles. So far so good.If you are an experienced player you will probably find this lacking a bit, the sticks are a little light and the pad doesn't feel quite as nice as some name brand pads. But if you are a beginner, or the parent of a beginner, I think this a fine set up at a low cost.

This will cost you about $30 with tax. For that money, the build quality is excellent. Everything fits and works. I looked at the picture and had it assembled in about 1 minute. The rubber pad has very good rebound, and to me, is essentially silent. I’ve hit other practice pads that were smaller, and not tripod mounted, and they seem to have more apparent sound. This one is 12 inches. It was packed well, but still received a nick in the wood edge of the pad during shipment. It doesn’t show during use, and doesn’t affect playability. It comes with a pair of drumsticks, and the hanging drumstick holder is really nice; it’s made of some thick materials and will definitely last.
