Tips
1.If the Android phone cannot supply power to the device, please ensure that the OTG function of your phone is turned on.
2.Please keep the battery power of the phone above 20% to ensure the device normally works.
3.The working temperature of the probe the camera is 14-176 °F (DO NOT use it in extreme temperatures)
4.The best imaging focal length of the product is 2cm-10cm. Please use it in this suggestion scope, and clean the front of the camera with a clean soft cloth to achieve the best imaging effect.

This endoscope plugs directly into a smart phone, in my case an iPhone. I bought this to replace a wireless scope that had a battery and used wifi to connect. For me, this works much better than the wireless endoscope as there’s no internal battery. It was frustrating to have an internal battery die on the old scope with no way to replace it.The second camera on this endoscope is a nice feature and it’s simple to use. We use the grappling hook to retrieve tools and things that fall into the bottom of the Amphicar and roll underneath the engine. Build quality is good and it’s holding up well despite repeatedly immersing the camera in oily water.Good price point and it’s saved me a lot of time and frustration when working in the bilge. Nice tool to have. Have also used it to inspect engine cylinders through the spark plug holes.

This little borescope is great. Keeping in mind that professional models that would clear up any gripes out there are anywhere from $200-$20,000, this plug and play model that connects to a phone or tablet is fantastic. It can take a few tries bending and positioning it correctly to get the view you want, the image is very clear and in focus.I’ve used it to look under the couch/between cushions (just for fun, don’t do it unless you’re ready to move your couch and start cleaning)Looked inside of a small engine and under the hood of a car to find out of the way bolts, clips, filter housings, etc. worked great looking through the bore/barrel of an old WWII rifle to check for rust and pitting. I’ve yet to be let down.The one small problem I had was getting it to connect at first. Turned out I needed to get a paper clip and really clean out the charging port of my phone. Once I did that, it works every time.

This endoscope camera works fairly well. Its a little hard to get things in focus (need to be at just the right distance) but works OK from about 1" - 6". I would rate the resolution as good. Overall, good value for the money.

Easy set up. Bought to help open a stuck kitchen drawer. It made a huge difference being able to see what was causing the problem, and drawer was unstuck in less than an hour!

AGM Elite 2 running android 12.On the aforementioned phone it runs well.I've seen others that have had issues on older phones of requiring a reboot or unplug & re-plug back in to get it to work or just plain crashing. I suspect the issue is most likely old android versions don't have updated drivers as like with a pc ,without them you'll have issues. The scope won't work on my older android 9 phone as it says device not connected. That tells me there's a driver not installed. Drivers are what tells the os what to do.On the elite it runs great & continues to work well when i use other programs to see if i can get it to crash it doesn't. Even with other programs open & just leaving the phone for 30 mins everything is fine when i get back.To switch to side camera it requires a long hold on the chrome round button that's on the front cover thing where the scroll wheel for the torch dimming is.In other words that's where the controller is to get the side camera working. Visibility is good can even see hone marks on a small line trimmer inside the bore.Real happy with the purchase as i've always wanted a bore scope & can remember 30 years ago how dear they were long before mobiles. It takes good photo's. Is worth the money if you want a cheap solution to get you started before you decide to get a stand alone borescope tho i don't know why you'd bother, however i've never used one & as the saying goes " you don't know what you don't know " since i haven't then i don't know if a standalone is any better

After installing the app, I plugged in the endoscope. The LED light comes on, but the app does not recognize the device is present DOA.

I didn't realize this sort of thing was available. It will definitely come in handy for many of my repair projects. The quality is very good. The App and camera worked perfectly with my Android phone.

The camera and app work OK. But the app only allows you to use the forward facing camera. There is no way to use the sideways facing camera.
