Easy Hook and Loop attachment. Uses commonly available paper. Virtually every contour imaginable. The only downside I've found are the paper hangs over the side(s) on over half the contours and the grit markings are not shown on over the provided pieces of sandpaper, mostly made from cut strips of full size paper with grit markings spread too wide. Yes, I'm OCD. It's highly recommended and you might as well buy the excellent refill package from DuraGold at the same time. Paper quality is not as good as "Gator" brand but less than 50% the price and available in substantially more grits. I've used the kit for custom walnut rifle stocks and cherry furniture.

These are excellent, a great assortment of shapes aimed at guitar builders. Very convenient when you like to have standardized blocks for your crew with everyone using similar tools start to finish of a complex 3D product. So much sandpaper today is Hook-n-Loop style that these just merge into your shops daily use immediately! No comment on Durability as only time will tell but the past month using them has been great. No more custom making sanding blocks

These are handy and work pretty well, they are small but thats not a issue for us, not like you use them for a complete sand job, they are for spots, or body lines, angles, curves etc. For the money they do the trick and save time and turn out a good result.

Where were these things all my life? I have done so many projects in the past that would have benefited from the use of these sanding partners. I am currently refinishing my stair handrails and posts, which have many curves and small areas suited for the different shapes in this kit. It has cut my sanding time and efforts at least in half. In addition, I recently had new baseboard installed in two bedrooms and these curved pieces are perfect for lightly sanding the nail hole filler before painting. I'm also painting several doors and the sanding blocks have been invaluable for preparing the doors and trim for painting. I have several other Duro-Gold hook and loop tools and loads of their sandpaper. Great products!

I bought these to sand and paint car parts actually! I also have guitars, but haven’t had to refinish. I’ve since found other uses, but all this to say: I’ve used this brand before, the product has held up to the abuse I’ve thrown at it, and there’s such a good variety of blocks and products that I’ve been able to use these on a dozen different things.Highly recommend! Good bang for buck here.
